Thorne and/or Felicia taking over Forrester Creations instead of Ridge.

We can look back through the years and see Ridge has hurt the company as much or more than Eric. After all he is marring Brooke Logan that is a sister to Donna Logan they the Logan family are all alike in so many ways, sleeping to the top. Brooke is a much worse threat of embarrassment to the company than Donna she (Brooke) will try to sleep with the next guy that comes to town. Donna seems to be settled besides the Marcus thing.

However I do not commend the children for what they are doing in the first place, if Eric wants a young thing let him play and pay for his mistakes playing with Logans again.

As an adoptive mother I have been reading over and over again viewers claiming Ridge is not a "real" Forrester and this has gotten more and more offensive for me.

His blood, sweat and tears have contributed as much to FC's as Thorne's, Felicia's and Kristen's, if not more so.

Ridge was a child born to a marriage.

The marriage was that of Stephanie and Eric.

Ridge is the son of Stephanie biologically therefore he is in his rightful place within the company today.

Everyone forgets about Stephanie and as to how her maternity plays a role in Ridge being a Forrester.

Everyone is focused on Eric and his sperm contributed and/or not contributed as if this is a sole determining factor of what makes a REAL Forrester.

Both Stephanie and Eric raised, fed, clothed, sheltered Ridge throughout his minor years.

As an adult, they continued on as Ridge's parents.

In return, he contributed to his Eric's needs when upstarting FO's.

He is no less their son as an adoptive child would be of a family.

It was not until 40 or so years after Ridge's birth was it revealed - his true paternity.

While this may not be the same as an adoption known, the fact that Ridge was raised by two people as their son makes Ridge equal to the children born to both parents and biologically related to both.

Ridge is no less a child of Stephanie and Eric's than a child adopted into a family or a foster child raised in a family or any other child raised out of the norm.

Genetics does not play a fact in creating all family units.

It is high time for some to think before they speak about what makes a child a real member of a family.

It is time for some to come to the point in understanding - you do not toss aside a child at any age who has been raised by a parent or two because he/she does not possess the "right" DNA.

Should Taylor toss aside Jack simply because he does not have her DNA?

Why should Ridge be tossed aside and/or step aside simply because the sperm donated towards his creation was not Eric's?

Ridge is Stephanie's first born and as such he is the first born of the Forrester family regardless if he is Eric's son biologically or not.

Ridge is in his rightful place as Stephanie was a founding member of the company together with Eric and because she is his mother and when born she was a Forrester.

I wish I had replied with the original post stated because when modified by the OP my answer to the topic does not appear to respond accurately to him/her when saying what was originally said about Thorne and Felicia taking over because Ridge is not a true Forrester with Thorne being the rightful heir apparent or words to that effect.

In other words, when the OP modified his/her topic, my response to the original post appears off topic - but it is in response to a far different original topic when first posted.

This modified version of the subject/title is in vast contrast to the original.

I totally TOTALLY agree 200% and more. Just because a man gives his sperm does not make him a daddy. A daddy is someone who is there and raises a child. He is there for the good times as well as the bad times and that is exactly what Eric has been to Ridge. I may not agree with everything that Eric has done but I can say he IS Ridge's daddy. Rige is just as much a Forrester as Thorn, Felisha, Kristen, Rick, or Bridget.

How can you keep those kids straight? It is as confusing as it can be. Everybody is related to everybody somehow and everybody has almost been married to everybody.

You said is Leighann.....Ridge has every right to be there, he has contributed to the company and more...

He has a right to feel concerned over that fact that Donna is not helping the company and sales are going down...

Maybe that little nudie scene of Eric on the ledge didn't help matters......

And it was revealed today that she had that expensive gym/bar concocted on the roof top of Forester's. It didn't go by the usual route of being voted in by the rest of the family......but because sticky fingers wanted it...Honey bear gave it to her!

She is a liability....so out you go girly!!
