What planet is Eric on?

Just listening to Eric today defending Storm to Ridge, made me so mad.
He has no idea what is really going on, and just stands there blaming Stephanie because Donna says to.
He has the gaul to complain about lack of passion from Stephanie,when he has as good as wiped his hands clean of the attempted murder of Stephanie..where is his compassion.

Good on Ridge for sticking up for his mother, I hope he keeps it up and let's see the support from Felicia and Thorne.

Eric knows what is going on but he choose to believe Donna because of the blackmail. And maybe he doesn't think that Storm should go to jail for why else would he do all of this. And I hate Stephanie bratty kids they can stand up for their mother but they need to get a life and some decent storylines. And Felicia acts like she can keep Donna from Eric life when she doesn't have the power to do that for if Eric wants Donna out of his life then that is his business not his daughter or his sons.
