Days after being violently raped, physically beaten by a man, and she's already cuddling with a man asking, "hold me"..... This is exactly what I predicted, she gets a pardon for being a horrible mother, and in records time, she's already cuddling up to the gender that violated her. YEAH Brooke is really displaying the scars of rape victims everywhere.

Bedroomeyes, I so agree with you! With the writers using a graphic rape scene just for kicks and ratings, I can forsee same-old, same-old spoilers for September October:

Brooke returns to her old self. She is happy about Ridge’s invitation to Big Bear because she is still in love with him. Taylor continues to have nightmares that the donor will take her baby. We all know what that means. Taylor catches TB and refuses medicine so she won’t harm the fetus. She comes close to dying and delivery nearly kills her. As doctors are about to allow Nick to cut the cord and Taylor is reaching for the baby in hopes she will survive if she can hold him, Brooke runs into the delivery room and begins to cry. She tells Taylor “That baby is mine because I laid the egg! Your husband Nick is mine because I married and divorced him after eight months and my children need their father! Ridge is mine since I have the most invalid marriages with him and my children need their father! Don’t expect sympathy from your children because they’re mine since I went to a PTA meeting before shipping the twins to boarding school!” Sheila enters the delivery room and points a gun at Brooke. With her last ounce of strength, Taylor gets off the delivery table to struggle for the gun and takes the bullet meant for Brooke. Taylor goes into cardiac arrest. A doctor climbs on top of her to administer CPR. Brooke begins to cry because Taylor gets all the attention since she is such a saint. As a Code Blue team rushes in with a gurney to race Taylor to surgery, Nick takes her hand and says “Hon, I’ll see you later. Brooke needs me now.” Taylor whispers that she trusts him. He and Brooke take the baby and walk into the hallway where they see Deacon. Brooke tells Nick she must folllow her destiny. She hands the baby to Deacon because her children need their father. Deacon, Brooke, and the new baby live happily ever after with Bridget in a mansion where Ridge's life-sized portrait hangs over the fireplace. Hope calls all five of them “Daddy.” Brooke tells Rick she will support his dating Hope if he waits until she is seven.

That was AWESOME! I damn near wet my pants laughing....... OH I could see this happening right before my eyes, being deemed, deep and utterly romantic...

Thanks Bedroomeyes and Molli. After all the hoopla about needing to do the rape SL for a supossedly "new Brooke," I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at this quick return to Ridge/Brooke/Nick and eggs. I'm glad you saw the humor in it.

Brooke did not hop into bed with Ridge. She is grateful to have her children back and comforted by Ridge. He is someone that she feels a closeness with and during this time he has been someone that she can turn to. She did not jump his bones! Besides; it would be nice to have him be a man for once and step up to the plate for his family! Instead of Ridge being mommies boy; it would be nice to see him actually settle down and be there for Brooke and the kids. Ofcourse they would not jump back into bed; but that does not mean that he cannot hold her to calm her fears or comfort her. This is getting so ridiculous!

Doesn't bother me that some posters don't like Brooke! What bothers me is that they say she deserved to get raped! Sorry Moderators but, "NO WOMAN DESERVES TO GET RAPED!" Plain and simple, 21st century thought, not 19th. If Taylor or Bridgette walked down the street, naked, I would still feel the same way! No woman deserves to get raped. What's not common sense about that? And shame on any woman who enables it!
