He should stand up to his mother for once and for all and tell her to back off. The fire was an accident. They are worried about a lighter and yet yesterday they had the fireplace on in the living room. Kids do stupid things. Maybe he should spend more time with them. He should also have gone inside and told Brooke he was taking the kids home to give her a break. He should not have snuck off with them and left his mommy to tell Brooke.

The woman that works for CPS is like a Stephanie clone. She seemed to get extremely carried away when talking (yelling at) Brooke about leaving the kids w/ Nick.
Even the firemen said it was an accident and she didn't even speak to them.
Did you notice she was speaking to someone on the phone outside Brooke's house? It seemed like a relative by the way she spoke. Maybe she will become a regular on the show and become friendly w/ the detective. If so Brooke will have no peace. She and Stephanie will double team her.

I am not sure where Ridge lives....probably with his mummy!

Yes, he lives with his Mom. Don't they have a guest house?

Really!!! I think his mom has had more dates with Ashley than he has. Ashley should rethink any relationship with Ridge because Stephanie is part of the package. Where is Eric? He needs to step up and get control of his wife and tell Ridge to move out and grow up.

ridge needs to develop a backbone and throw his mama out of his home once and for all.

I've watched B&B from the beginning but have to admit that I've lost all respect for Ridge. The main theme seems to be that $$ rules over everything. What happened to Ridge being grateful for his freedom? Doesn't he still have to go to court for obstuction? Aren't there any news papers in LA? Ridge needs to get some backbone stand upp to MOMMY.

Why get on Ridge about this? Stephanie is not the one that called in CPS, the fire dept. did that. While it is true Stephanie was expressing her concern to the CPS worker, who just happens to be an old friend. The fact still remains The CPS worker made the desicion to remove the children based on the facts of the case. Ridge taking the kids was a good thing in my opinon, because those kids were going to come out of that home, there was no questioning that. If he hadn't taken them they would have been placed in foster care, with strangers, wouldn't that have been worse? Stephine did not create this situation or set Brooke up and neither did Ridge. Brooke is out of control and needs to get it together. For someone who was so concerned about her son's safty when Ridge hit Rick she surly has been acting in an irresposible fashion towards her younger children.

He seems to have forgotten that Brooke helped him with that whole Shane mess. She should tell the CPS worker about Stephanie choking her with the telephone cord or shooting at her with a rifle. And that was only a few weeks ago. Stephanie should just stay out of it. Hope isn't even related to her.
