Just another example of a poorly thought out and unbelievable storyline....now, we're suppose to believe that after the very Brooke-esque things that Bridget has done/been over the past few years, that all of a sudden she gets a heated rush of OMG-who's eggs were fertilized moment? How believable is it for us to believe that Bridget, who was married to Nick, had the decorum and gall enough to implant Taylor, Nick's current wife and her mother Brooke's nemesis, with fertilized eggs?

How believable is it that as Brooke's daughter, she isn't a tad bit CREEPED OUT by assisting or knowing about her mother's eggs being extracted to be used with Nick's sperm to 'give him a baby?'

What woman in her right mind would think that's a great idea to help her mother get pregnant illegally with your ex-husband's sperm...who by the way, was briefly your ex stepfather after he divorced you to marry your mother?

This is NUTS!

A conflict of interest. Bridget seems extremely burnt out. Maybe she's going to stay in the hospital as a customer for a while and destress. She REALLY needs to calm down and rest.

Point of clarification. Brooke was being tested to see if her eggs were viable, so that she could give Nick a baby. she planned to do this the old fashioned way. There was never any plan or conspericy between Brooke and Bridget to use Nick's sperm to fertilize any of these eggs or have them implanted in Brooke. In all fairness what appears to have happened wasa mistake as a result of very sloopy record keeping and lab techs. If I were in that situation and going to be upset with anyone it would be the idiot lab techs.

It is not necessary to cultivate a woman's eggs to see to check her fertility or viability to conceive--that's what blood tests are for. Now this ridiculous storyline has Bridget saying that her mother's eggs were donated and were not to be used in the lab for fertilization. When did Brooke stop by the hospital to say that she felt generous to those who needed eggs so she decided to give her own? NEVER! Brooke is a scandalous tramp and I wouldn't put it past her that she and/or Bridget had something to do with this mixup.

this story line is maddening.

This is going to be a mess when the truth comes out. But no matter Stephanie is going to blame Brooke for it anyhow like she always does. And Bridget will probably have a long held back nervous breakdown over it.

First, I like the egg mixup storyline. As "maddening" as it is, it makes me want to keep watching. And second --sadly-- I really like this Bridget. All the same, when I watch Youtube replays of Jennifer Finnegan as Bridget during the birth of Hope (her sister? her stepdaughter? shades of Chinatown!) -- Bridget didn't seem to be a soap-opera character but a real flesh and blood human being. The long scene where she raced through the house gathering all Deacon's stuff into a sheet, and then setting the whole shebang on fire out in a trash can on the terrace, had her muttering to herself in tears and anger and hurt. That performance created a real person. I don't know if it's a problem with the writing or with the sweet character of this darling actress, but the role just isn't believable anymore.
