We are either Brooke or Taylor lovers most of us and I should start by saying that I prefer Brooke over Taylor.

Brooke is not my favourite character on the show. It annoys me that she never knows what she wants (f.ex. letting Ridge go only to go after him some days later), but that said, I have to say that to me she's not the homewrecker that most people make her to be.

Yes, she has destroyed many marriages in her pursuit of Ridge, but these marriages were already in trouble when Brooke entered the picture Eric/Stephanie, Thorne/Macy etc. and if these men wanted to stay in their marriages, then nothing that Brooke did would have made them to leave their wives for Brooke.

So instead of blaming Brooke for these fiascos, what about blaming the weak men on the show?

Silo, I completely agree, but most of the haters will always blame Brooke. The men on this soap seem to be weak minded when it comes to women.

LOL, just because a marraige is already having problems doesn't give you an open invitation to finish it off. That is crazy thinking. All marraiges go through problems, and that is what marraige is...working on it. Not moving on to an ready and willing NEW partner. No wonder divorce is 50/50, no one gives respect to the concept of marraige. I would have more respect for Brooke and Ridge if they just lived together, instead of saying those vows to God and everyone every couple of years. It kind of loses it's honesty and pledge.
But to the topic, no Brooke is not the only problem of this soap. And in reality, it would be boring without her. She is as much a staple of the show, and her antics, as Stephanie, Ridge, Taylor, Eric, and the rest. It's a hot mess, but is why we tune in. Who would watch if it always was hum drum every day?
