I've noticed that we've all been aggressively supporting either Taylor or Brooke and wondered why, we, the viewers think these two women dislike one another so much? What caused the conflict? Why we support each one to within an nth of our lives. |

Unfortunately, these postings about Taylor VS Brooke brings out a lot of negativity...I will not be sharing my opinion on this subject. |

I think Taylor hates Brooke because of her interferring in her marriages with both Ridge and Nick, which I totally understand. Although, I don't think that her marriage to Nick would have ended, if Taylor had been a stronger person and stood up to Brooke. |

Actually, Taylor started it all when she went after Ridge when Caroline died. Caroline knew Ridge loved Brooke and wanted them to be together. However, Taylor told Brooke to stay away and let him heal, which Brooke did. Taylor, though. put herself into Ridge's life by making visits to his office and generally just chasing after him. To me, Taylor was the conniving one. I wondered why Brooke didn't kick her a**. Brooke was always the sweet one, while the two evil plotters, Taylor and Stephanie, were always trying to break up Ridge and Brooke. It took Ridge years to see what Taylor was really like. |

I used to dislike Taylor for several reasons! The way she pounced on Ridge after Caroline died, while telling Brooke to keep her distance was one. I disliked her for the lie she perpetuated for ten years, all the while berating Brooke for her choices, and, even though I don't particularly care for Ridge, the way she treated him when he did the famous email boink! The whining, nearly every single day, and the fact that she would always blame Ridge for his wandering eye and his flirtatious personality! She even watched him seduce Brooke in Venice! Well, seducing involves more than just looking, it involve handplay and tongue action. All of which Taylor continually blamed Brooke for causing! |

Touched, I love your post. When Caroline married Ridge, she encouraged him to maintain his friendship with Brooke because she was secure in his love and knew Brooke's friendship meant alot to Ridge. Taylor on the other hand was very insecure in his love because of the way she got him and tried to destroy that friendship. Taylor took every chance she could to say nasty things about Brooke, even to Nick when she first met him and found out he was in love with Brooke. She keep warning Nick about Brooke. She always needed to feel superior to Brooke. |

Taylor wanted Nick even when he was with Brooke. She wound up drunk in his bed. Somehow Taylor seems to want the men that have a connection with Brooke. Why would she ever allow herself to be involved with Nick when she knew how much he loved Brooke. She should have warned herself to stay away. She has had men who have adored her with no connection to Brooke and they don't seem to be good enough. Pierce, Dante, Omar all loved her, but I guess it makes a more tantalizing soap if you have the so called good girl vs the bad girl. |

That's just another reason I have nothing but disgust for Taylor. She sticks her nose in where it doesn't belong. |

Taylor did not have the balls to control her own husband and she should have! He was flirting with Brooke the entire time he was married to her and it was all Brooke's fault? Seems to me, if she had put her foot down, she would have been much happier or divorced...and I don't think she wanted to be divorced from Ridge. She let him do way too much crap, just to keep him! |

She told the truth about Brooke's character. She essential stated that Brooke goes after men and then always winds up hurting them. She didn't lie! I recall that Nick made himself accessible to Taylor on many, many occasions. He began to pursue her and heck, she's a single woman, why couldn't she appreciate it and if she wanted return the affections. I think she was upfront with Nick that she thought it was a bad I idea and that he was the one who won her over. It's sad to say that in any romance that Taylor has because the guys want her, Brooke has to be tossed in. So, I guess if you think about the men Taylor has been with and Brooke is always mentioned as having been there first, what they heck does that say about Brooke? Come on, Taylor was happily married when Pierce was on the show! Omar, twice held her captive while she was married! Dante, was a friend and unlike Brooke she didn't fool herself into thinking that she had to be with every man on the show. Why is it okay for Brooke to have Ridge and not Taylor? Doesn't she love him? Or does everyone think Brookie just loves Ridge more and will go to more drastic means to show her love? Please. |

She can't help but to whine and keep her nose in everybody else's business. Which always results in problems for everyone else! |

Yeah, Taylor could have done many things but she didn't. She let it play out and it did. But I don't think that it was Ridge doing the flirting and leading on. For example, I distinctly recall Ridge dropping down to his underwear on more than one occasion in front of Brooke. Or dropping by Brooke's office for a family picnic. Oh yeah, and going to Brooke's house and looking through her bedroom window as she made love to someone else. Never happened. Ridge finally realized that he couldn't be friendly to Brooke because she took it to mean that he wanted her or that he was flirting. I remember when Brooke finally realized that Ridge actually loved Taylor and only wanted to be with her. Like a big girl she told Taylor that she was sorry for all of the things that she had done to cause problems between Taylor and Ridge and wished them well. Taylor was class and eventually got her way before those bad people sent her to soap opera death for the second time! |

Ridge is the biggest problem here. If he hadn't have led these 2 women on constantly regardless of which one he was with perhaps they wouldn't be such enemies now |

Quote Kat232: Ridge is the biggest problem here. If he hadn't have led these 2 women on constantly regardless of which one he was with perhaps they wouldn't be such enemies now Exactly, people are always so quick to blame the women for everything and Ridge is the one who has the balls. |
