The Logans have taken over Forrester because the wimpy weasel that is suppose to be the head of the family--Eric---allowed another woman (Brooke) into his marriage with Stephanie and disrespected her and their family. If Eric would have stopped Brooke from coming on to him, and thought it through with the head on his shoulders instead of in his pants, he would still have stopped this incestual sicko love fest that we've seen the Logans do over 20 years now. Eric is the blame for not being man enough to respect his wife and family. He is to blame for these tramps running roughshod through his family.

Let's say he turned Brooke down---no Rick or Bridgette being born---he could have sternly told her to focus her energies on Ridge and if Ridge told her he loves someone else (Taylor), then he will respect his son's decision...

That should have been it...but instead, we saw Stephanie take on the role as husband and wife, trying to keep her family sane and out of the clutches of those Logan she-beasts...but she is only one person, and right or wrong, she did the best she could.

I believe Eric was much older and already had many affairs when he came on to a much younger Brooke, who had only one sexual experience which was with his son. Blame the old goat. As for Brooke ruining Ridge & Caroline's marriage, Caroline died of leukemia and at peace with Brooke, so much that she wanted Brooke & Ridge together, because she knew there was a deep connection there. Brooke did cross the line with Deacon, but her and Bridget have mended their relationship. She did not sleep with Nick when he was married to Bridget. I believe Brooke was a virgin with Ridge, there is an episode showing the first time they made love, not everyone sleeps with their fiancee. Thorne and Ridge were both in love with Caroline it is every evident in that pool party where Ridge and Brook first meet. Brooke did fall in love with Ridge, but he wasn't married so according to logic he was fair game. Taylor was engaged to Storm and she dropped him like a hot potato when Ridge came along. Taylor told Brooke she should give her marriage to Eric some time and Eric begged Ridge not to take Brooke, so Ridge moved on with Taylor. I do believe that Taylor and Ridge were happy. But Ridge always gave Brooke mixed signals and gave her hope. I hated her with Deacon and I do believe that was a horrible mistake. Thorne was a good friend and unfortunately they fell in love while separated, but you are right it is still adultery. But her having the children instead of an abortion to me makes her a better person because she took responsibility and chose life.
