Who's fault is it for Steffy becoming a homewrecker? Taylor or Brooke?

Now obviously, the fault lies mainly with Steffy. She is an adult who knows right from wrong and is able to make the correct decision. Or so we thought. |

I say Taylor because Brooke isn't Steffy's mother. Between Taylor and Stephanie complaining about how it's the Logan's sister's fault for their men leaving them all the time and never blaming the men and are still willing to always go back to these men, at the beckon call they are the bad examples. For instance look at how Steffy bad mouthed Jackie all the time when she wanted Owen, exactly who did she remind you of? She was dead wrong for that and learned by sitting their watching and listening to her mother and grandmother do this constantly. Brooke's no saint by far but she doesn't exactly waste her time giving Taylor/Stephanie the time of day by bad mouthing them all the time to her children or Ridge. |

However, what is the secondary cause of this transformation? Yes, its easy to say Taylor because she's her mother, its up to a mother to raise their children correctly, but still. Taylor never stole men from other women in front of Steffy's eyes. Is Brooke the one to blame here? Is it possible that because she has seen Brooke, and to a lesser extent Donna, get ahead in life by stealing and seducing powerful men, that Steffy has taken a page from their book? The way she was standing so close to Bill and the way she kissed him and then pretended to be surprised, it just looked like Brooke to me. I say Brooke is the bad influence here. When do people finally grow-up an stop blaming a parent figure or for that matter, someone else, for their poor behavior? It's always easy to blame someone else, it's never easy to realize that the person is free to make choices, even if they are the wrong ones! Steffy is solely to blame for what Steffy does! |

I say Brooke. As for saying it is the parents fault then you can blame Brooke because she was Steffy step mom. |

I totally agree with you Touched. Steffy is who Steffy is. She has had bad and good influences, and not everything people do is because of influences. She is carving her own way, doing what she wants, she is responsible for what she does. |

At least she was able to handle the situation and step up to the plate in Taylor's absence, unlike Taylor who practically couldn't wait to dump baby Jack into Brooke's arms because she couldn't deal. Taylor's kids loved and respected Brooke especially Pheobe until their mpther came home expecting Ridge back ASAP after all those years. I have to agree with Touched and Boldmama, Steffy should be held accountable for her actions. |

The whole family is dysfunctional no one seems to have boundaries or respect for realtionships but at the end of the day Steffy is an adult making her own decisions |
