What if Bill's vendetta is really all about Ridge?

After watching the interaction between Bill and Eric, I don't think that he is after Eric but watching the interaction between Bill and Ridge has me believing that Bill is after Ridge. Bill, treats Ridge with disdain as if he can barely tolerate him. Why? He's treated Eric admirably before and during the take over but Ridge, hmmm, he treats him like crap. Something is up with that but I can't put my finger on it. |

I think any respect Bill shows for Eric is for the Talent he has as a Designer, certainly not as a businessman or a man either. The fact is Dad (Bill) felt for Eric has nothing to do with how Bill Jr. views the Forrester men, he is judging them on what he sees, Whimpy , lust driven Fools, poor businessmen who needs stroking and strength from their Female partners (Brooke, Taylor, Stephanie)to keep everything going while they Draw Dresses..... .... .... Caroline was Bill's sister and knew the history, how Ridge cheated on his sister the night before the first wedding, broke her heart. Yes years later they did get married, and he loved her .... ... ... I never , ever heard of Bill Jr. till now.... Therefore have no Idea who his Mom is. I remember Bill Sr. was married to Margo, but don't think they had a child together. |

Bill hated Ridge, he much preferred Caroline with Thorne. He even threaten Ridge and yes he did set him up. Both Ridge and Eric had affairs with Margo who wound up marrying Bill. Margo also had a son with Clarke, Dr. Mark Mclaine. Remember he helped Stephanie fake a heart attack. Karen was a twin who was abducted when she was a baby and Bill and his wife kept it a secret even from Caroline. No mention was ever made of a son. |

I'm still hoping that in some ridiculous way Stephanie is Bill Jrs mom. Or maybe Bill Jr dislikes Ridge because he is Stephanies son, and he resents the fact that his dad, Bill Sr was infatuated with Stephanie, instead of his mother, whomever that might be. |

I was on his side in his war with Rick. I thought he was justified when he left Brooke because she would not supprt him over her son. I thought he was right when he had reservations about bringing Jack into his home. I even thought he was right to tell Brooke to make a choice between him and Nick and to stay out of Nick's life if she wanted a future with him. But the way he is acting here is rediculois. IT is ridge's own fault, along with his father that the company was on the verge of bankruptcy. They both made bad financial desicions that left Forrester vunerable. Some people say Bill is going to stab everyone in that back, and that may happen. But up untill this point I have seen no evidence of that. Ridge and Eric have beeen given creative freedom and the have been relived of a mountian of crushing debt. This could be a lucretive buisness move, but Ridge is acting like a spolied little brat because he didn't get the job he felt like he was entitled to. |
