ICAM with your post. Hello everyone! I'm new to this board although I've read it off and on for a few years. Brooke is jealous that she's not top dog around Forrester anymore and that her little sister is in fact her boss and she has to answer to her, someone she never though of as a threat or competition. Not only that, Katie is engaged to Bill, who is drop-dead gorgeous and doesn't have the least interest in her as a woman. She stupidly thought that they would just get Bill's money and he wouldn't take a more active role in the company he bought and know her dumb assumption just came up and bit her on the butt.


I totally agree with your post too! It will be a matter of time before Brooke declares she has a "destiny" with Bill, and she is going to try to do the same thing she did to Bridget with Deacon. And I am tired of Ridge whining about the place not being the same--that company hasn't been successful since Stephanie was fired, and it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out why--the Logans and Eric's spineless ways.

HURRAY FOR KATIE! I'm excited to see her get in there and make everyone shake in their boots.

I don't think Katie betrayed anyone. She and Bill told everybody right up front what their plans where. IT's not like they had to sneak in the back door and pull something noone saw coming. Intentions were made crystal clear. IT's not Katie's fault, or Bill's for that matter that Eric and Ridge have brought the company to the point where it was buried in debt. But Brooke has earned the right to defend the company and her husband.

I believe a combination of thing brought this company down, not just Ridge and Eric. Remember the 5,000episode at Big Bear after Eric got the company back from Nick. The core four decided to take the huge gamble to make the company a success, all 4. Buy the retail stores to sell the designs was a unanimous decision. Then Thorne, Felicia, and Pam did some sabotage to Donna which affected the company. Rick gave the designs to Nick. Then came the Logan Chronicles. Then Pam did some more sabotage to Donna. All these affected sales in addition to the recesssion. There is enough blame to go around and around. Bill just took advantage first of Stephanie, then of the Forresters.

I think Katie has tasted a bit of power and is in way over her head. LOL She's a bit more impressed with herself than I am with her, for sure. I think she's buying into what Bill is filling her head with -hook, line, and sinker! Time will tell.
I'm not sure why Katie would deserve any credit for the success of a clothing line if Eric and Ridge are the designers.....

If your talking about the Royalty line, it's true Eric and Ridge were the designers and they came up with some beautiful gowns. But the concept for the line was KAties's and she should get the credit for that part of it.

She DID get credit for the Royalty line! Eric gave her credit at the show, as did Brooke and Ridge. I can't imagine what else they could do besides announce it to the world at the fashion show contest.

In Brooke's defense, which you don't see from me often, she is not a vindictive person. I don't think she is the sharpest tool in the shed, but she doesn't intentionally do mean things to people. She forgives way too easily, so I don't see her trying to hurt her sister on purpose.
