His soon to be Wife will be CEO of FC and he belives in her why would anyone doubt the business decison of a man such as Bill Spencer maybe he feels Katie will suceed Well, imho it's not so much about pride, but about backbone and priorities. HERE'S your chance Ridge, to prove, that your little sister-in-law is more important to you, than your job AND to prove, that you're a MAN not a whining wimp who always needs the help of the hot blondie to get out of difficult situations. If it weren't for Brooke you MIGHT have fought off for a few more months the take-over, maybe even fought it off for good, but at what costs? what else would you have had to sacrifice? AND you only grudgingly agreed to the takeover, because you thought you all could make Katie your puppet and doormat. UUUUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh how SHOCKING to realise, that she isn't always playing along. Well anyway: IF you really think, that Bill doesn't give a flying f..k for Katie, than you can say:"I don't care, if you fire me, Bill! Get another dummie to design the dress for my poor sister in law. I don't condone that relationship, I think she will be VERY UNHAPPY with you and therefore I won't contribute to her unhappiness in any way! I will neither design her dress, nor come to that farce of a wedding!" THAT'S what a MAN would do, a man with principles and backbone. I'm curious how long it will take for Ridge to cave in, just like he did, when that &%$§" was blackmailing him, to accept his relationship with Phoebe. |

Sure I would. I would even design or sew in the words traitor and/or Benedict Arnold in the dress while I was at it. Because those words describing Katie are so true of her character. |

Quote Donna L. Forrester: Sure I would. I would even design or sew in the words traitor and/or Benedict Arnold in the dress while I was at it. Because those words describing Katie are so true of her character. Uh, I tried to look up that name in Wikipedia, but the results weren't satisfactory. Could you enlighten me please, who he was and why he was a traitor? Otherwise I don't agree with your assessment with Katie. All of her sisters got to be CEO, they had as "much" experience for that position as she has now. Yes, Brooke EARNED that position because of "believe" but fact still is, that she had ZERO experience, just like Donna when she took over for Eric while he was in coma. Anyway, up until now Katie tried to make the best out of an impossible situation. She didn't actively help Bill to get FC, but when it became inevitable she didn't blackmail him: "Back off, or you will lose me!" but saw that such a takeover could actually be a win-win situation: Forrester Creations would have unlimited means while keeping the company's image intact!! |

Benedict Arnold was a patriot turned traitor during the American Revolution! He plotted to turn over the fort at West Point, NY, to the British forces for money and a position in the British military. He was found out before this could happen! His name is synonymous with treason! |

Because those words describing Katie are so true of her character. I agree with you 100%. The bottom line is this: If Bill really just wanted to help he should have offered it, not forced it. He forced Eric out of his position, etc. and Katie went along with because she couldn't see beyond her ego. None of the nice guys on the show would have done business this way. I can't wait to see Bill and Katie get it stuck right back at them. |
