Uh, remind me please Brooke: How do YOU spell "infatuation"? I know how it is written in the dictionary, but I think for YOU it is "R.I.D.G.E". Or maybe even "S.O.U.L.M.A.T.E" and we all know how flxible the latter one is, for you.
I really think, that Katie is IN LOVE and NOT "infatuated" with Bill, but only time will tell. YOU are NOT to judge your little sister Brooke. No matter WHAT privte agreement you have or THINK you have with her, it is now KATIE who cracks the wipp at FC. Right now, your ONLY job-position there is "Ridge's wife", that's all. It has been YEARS since you brought something useful to FC, so it would be no big deal, if your little sister would fire you. Should Eric and Ridge then throw up a tantrum, behave as if they were in their terrible twos, then it is TOUGH LUCK on them. I don't exactly know, whether the former designs of Eridge were included in the deal, but even if not - there should be plenty of designers out there in the USA, who are just waiting for someone who gives them a chance. If push comes to shove, Bill and Katie could ask Bridget, whether she would be willing to save her inheritance. HEHE, wouldn't THAT be great: Ridge has to watch, seething with rage, while his little sister, whom he never ever considered a serious competition, gets all the rewards, HE once got and Bill makes it clear to him: "Neither I, nor FC needs you. We are doing just fine without you"!!! [purrrrrrrrrr]

I think Brooke knows a thing or two about Obsession and abusive relationships.
Regardless of the Stephanie factor, they have broken up over many other things. They don't need a Stephanie to have problems, they come and go just like the marraige vows that allegedly mean so much to these two. They don't amount to a hill of beans. I wouldn't listen to anything she has to say about love and marraige, it just is a farce and not lasting.

This soap has had a central theme of people and situations that interfere with Brooke and Ridge being together---yes, it was written that way.
Just as it has been written that they really belong together--
and they always get back together...despite the conniving
by Stephanie, Taylor, and others.
We will see if this worn-out Sl has been laid to rest.

Looks like Brooke and Ridge's love amounts to much more than a hill of beans.
It appears that the farce is the failed efforts of Stephanie, Taylor and whomever.

Taylor is more knowledgeable of obsession and abuse.
I hope she lets go her obesession with Brooke's life and finds herself a new direction for living
(that is not connected to Brooke).
How laughable that Taylor referred to Brooke recently when counseling Steffy regarding getting involved with Owen.
There was no connection to that comparison/reference...
Taylor has a Brooke complex.

Brooke is smart to question Bill's true intentions and motives given all the circumstances.
Naturally she is concerned for her little sister...
and she is defensive to the FC takeover.

valinator1-Yes! Brooke and Nick were so hot, cool, awesome, AND good looking together. Just loved their wedding a few years back. Nick looked handsome in his all-white suit (like a sailor) and Brooke was glowing and smiling. She did that a lot with Nick, I thought anyway.

Unfortunately, Taylor always blames Brooke for her loss of Ridge! Will she ever admit that it is Ridge, who left, on his volition? I don't believe she will ever hold him responsible for anything he does!

As far as the expert on love and infatuation goes, I would think that Stephanie would be the expert! She has been in love and infatuated with the same person her entire adult life, and she still hasn't given up! Her relationship with her eldest son...is wierd, at best! She has had several men drooling all over her and worshipping her! They were willing to move heaven and earth for her! Damn, it must have been that good! Can the same be said about Brooke's "men?" They have yet to try of off someone for her! Taylor's children are still alive, and it was not Brooke's fault, that Phoebe died, even though, and this is the wierd part, there are some who believe that Brooke is responsible!

Stephanie is the Queen of all this...and more!

Shorty-Thank ya! I agree it is better to respectfully agree or disagree. One thing I have always agreed with Touched on is Ridge. Stephanie-part of the time. Brooke-I do disagree about Brooke and Ridge. I know a lot of posters see them as the perfect couple-I just can't see it. Believe it or not, I use to be a Brookie in the early years of B&B and didn't like Taylor that much. Now its the opposite. Go figure. I think I got tired of the whole Ridge/Brooke/Taylor triangle, plus I got mad at Brooke over the Deacon/Bridgette fiasco. But I do like Brooke with Nick, just not Ridge.

We certainly agree on not liking Brooke and Ridge together, and I, too loved her with Nick. Most of the time it is not the characters that I do or do not like, it is the story that they are in. I can love or hate anyone of them at any given time.....think that is called being fickle but it seems to work for me...see you around!!

I also loved Brooke with my sea captain. I thought at last someone who will love and protect her and a fantastic mother-in-law. Ridge was always waffling and promising eternal love, then in a heartbeat leaving her. But the dang writers ruined Nick. Hopefully Ridge has grown up, no more waffling,true love prevailed. Nick and Bridget look happy so maybe it will work out. I also seriously doubt Bridget would help Katie over her mom and dad. If push comes to shove Katie will probably find herself in a boat without a paddle.
