How would the Forresters maintaining control be a "secret" if Katie says so during the press release?

I'm confused. When Katie agreed to have the "family" make decisions together behind Bill's back, why would they then get upset when Katie says otherwise during the press release? Are they just that stupid? Why question Katie's loyalty now?

You know I asked that same question. Also, have you noticed how Brooke keeps laying it on, so thick, about how they need Katie to remember 'family comes first'. Of course for Brooke, family is Ridge, Eric and Donna. Katie can be happy unless she is supportive of everyone except Bill. Snake or not, that is who she has freely chosen to commit herself to. Just like Brooke has chosen Ridge again and again and again for the past 20 years.

I'm trying to figure out just when Katie's sister's backstabbed her! Poor Storm, his heart when to a damned fool!

Poor Storm was a fool himself.
Maybe the sisters didn't actually backstab her, but they don't want her to be her own person. Only as long as they decide what she does. They even pushed her to go for Nick, they didn't mind her backstabbing her niece. But they don't like Bill, which is fine...but it is her decision.
They weren't running the company, so why not give it a shot? They were running it to bankruptcy, how is that better?

They didn't "backstab" her per se, but they were up in arms when she said that she answers to the CEO of her parent company. I'm just lost as to why they would be upset about that. What was she supposed to say? That she, as CEO, answers to her subordinates?

The whole plan that Katie, Brooke, Donna, Ridge and Eric agreed to was that Katie would be CEO, but that secretly all 5 of them would make the decisions together. Not only that, but I remember Brooke saying something to the effect that "You'll be CEO. CEO's delegate, motivate" etc. and that she would be the "public face of Forrester, a liaison".

Well if she's the "public face" then the PUBLIC needs to think she's in charge, not the family. Why whine and complain about being betrayed after the press conference?

Great points! I was thinking the same things.

I wonder about TWO things:
1.WHAT EXACTLY would Brooke have wanted her "baby sister" to answer to that question? That she will decide that issue, when the time arises? WOW, SUCH A GREAT ANSWER for someone, who has to make tough decisions by the minute.
2.FC has been taken over by Spencer publications. So ALL of the Forrester children, AND grandchildren are concerned by that, or am I wrong there? WHY is it, that only the two biggest egotist of the family were at the press conference? Where were Thorne, Felicia, Kristen... hell even Rick and Bridget?

Now I'm really confused. Today Brooke says that Katie double crossed the family? Brooke is one dumb broad. Katie and the family could have controlled everything behind the scenes, and now she messes that all up.

I now want Katie to be the most annoying, most spiteful person to the Forresters and Logans possible.

Well, you certainly are getting your want, cause that is just exactly what Katie is being!! Better watch what you ask for, because I am afraid that Katie acting that way will come back and bite her bad and her fans are not going to like that. Makes for a great storyline and we have needed that for a while..

I so agree with you. A secret is not a secret if revealed in a press conference. She needed to make it look like she was on Bill's side! Brooke is not thinking . . . she is actually being pretty stupid over all of this. And I am usually a Brooke fan - except when she cries all the time!

I nearly wanted to turn off the show today. well I did tuned it off today. After Brooke kept saying that Katie was not loyal to her family. Hello was brooke loyal to Rick when it came to Ridge? I don't think so. it really gets me when Brooke claims that Ridge and Eric would or could run the company better. If that was the case why does Bill own the company now.

I think Brooke is mad she will not be the Queen of FC as she thought she be.

Katie needs to be loyal to Bill. Brooke keeps this crap up with the private convos with Katie, don't you think Bill might put it together what is going on?
