Why didn't Marone Stock come into play?

Okay now the writer's must think we fans have a short memory or are stupid. Maybe they got a short circuit! Ridge is Massimo's Marone son and Massimo was the owner of a multibillion not million - billion shipping company. At one point Ridge worked for Marone Industries then he got disgusted w/Massimo and left and had nothing to do w/the company. But I am sure Massimo purchased a huge stock for each of his sons. So Marone Industries is a huge conglomorate even bigger that Spencer's Publishing and I am sure the stock that belongs to Ridge is worth hundred of millions of dollar's. So my question is why was that not an option for Forrester's? The writer's really messed this up BIG time......

Hi
BOTH of Massimo's sons have disavowed their father. Ridge did so YEARS BEFORE Nick. At a time, when RJ wasn't yet born and it was unclear WHOSE child Brooke was expecting. Thanks to a messed up paternity test (didn't Bridget's first husband have a hand in $crewing that up?) it was thought, that it was Nick's child. Massimo didn't want his first grandchild to be born out of wedlock (another case of "do as I tell you, but don't do, like I do!!!" )so he pressured Brooke to marry Nick. There was a big party, during which all the world and his brother put emotional thumbscrews on Brooke - to his credit, Nick DIDN'T. But his mother told him, to ask Brooke once again to marry him, and thanks to that brainwashing by James, Rick and so on, Brooke said "yes".
Ridge showed up, after Nick, Hope and Brooke had left, was mad as a hellcat that everyone pushed Brooke to be with a man she didn't love and more or less threw Mass his Marone-inheritance into his face by taking off the ring with the Marone-Crest and leaving it behind.
So I don't think, that Ridge owns any more Marone-stock.
And Nick... AFAIR he sold all of his stock, to severe ties with that firm. The Marone execs had been shocked, when they heard on the first fashion show, after Nick had taken over FC, that his mother had been a ... um, a sailor-woman.
He wanted to keep FC at all costs, so he too severed ties with Marone Industries.
Hey, wouldn't it be a roar, if Mass came back, to give his son a financial leg up and help him to go on competing with FC? AFAIK there's no love lost between Eric and Massimo, so why not? It would be an original idea-that's why not probably! You can say what you want about this soap, but "original" is NOT it's middle name, is it?

Yes, Ridge and Massimo were at outs due before RJ were born. Massimo later had a stroke and Ridge and Nick were supportive. As a matter of fact before Massimo left he and Ridge were at peace w/each other and he tried to help Ridge win Brooke back. He arranged to have Jackie put in jail with Megan's help. This caused a huge rift between him and Nick and Nick got him kicked out of Marone's. However, even though his sons were mad at him at one point or another my bet is Massimo gave each son a huge stock sum worth a lot due to Marone's Industries is a multi billion dollar company. It was important to Massimo to have his sons be a part of Marone's after all it was passed on to him as well as the ring he wore and gave one to each son.

One Massimo would probably not help his biological son Ridge for the fact that he still keeps the name of Forrester since Eric raised him and he has always known Eric to be his father he turned down Vice Chairman of the Board of Marone Industries to go back to Forrester Creations so you know where Ridge family loyalties lie he would never step in to help Eric unless it was to buy FC and give to Stephanie. Nick turned his back on his father forced him as Marone's Ceo when Massimo was making Jackie pay for cheating on him Nick even sold his stock and went out on his own Massimo's own sons left him so he has no reason to help any of them

Deacon didn't have anything to do with the outcome of the first paternity test on RJ! If anyone did, it would have been Sally, who was in the next office with Darla, listening in on the conversation Brooke had with the doctor.

Deacon did have the second paternity done via a friend of his! At this time, it was implied that he was having a paternity test of his own done on one curly headed moppet! Gee, wonder who?
