I could'nt believe today's Show . Did you see Donna , Ridge
and Eric face when Brooke said " Maybe Bill is right" . I have to see how all this plays out!!!!!!!

Maybe they should rename this character Boink. Seems like that's her greatest talent!

I have said this before, I am not a great Brooke fan. However there are times when I have to give her credit and this is one of them. She sees that Forrester is sinking in a sea of debt and the are eventually going to drown. Eric borrowed against the company at the worst possible time. We all know Eric is a brillient designer, but when it comes to brilliance in buisnes, not so much. It has been shown time and time again Stephanie was the brains behind the talent for yearas. With her gone Eric went off the deep end with his ideas that were not thought completely through. Donna of course was no good as a guiding force because she went along with whatever her "honeybear" wanted.

Brooke has enough sense to see that they are selling off their assets and it is going to come to a point where they have nothing and then they might well lose the company anyway. Unlike Donna, she is not completely blinded by the ideal of being a rich Forrester wife, she knows it takes money to make money and right now Forrester has nothing but debt and hope for a new collection.

Donna wouldn't know a good business decision if it came up and bit her on her ta tas. She has only a high school education, has worked as a waitress, then a model for Forrester, and married Eric. The month or so Eric was out of commision and she was in charge it was really everybody else making it work. She was just really a figure head. All though in real life she is a very intelligent woman they have scripted this woman to be what she is playing a dumb blonde bimbo who will go along with whatever Eric decides in hopes to keep the life she has come to know and want.

You are seeing this the same way that I am....no matter if you like Brooke or not, or if you think that all she knows how to do is drop her clothes or go after someone else's man, she is first and foremost and very smart business woman!! She has proved that many times over and once again she sees the writing on the wall about Bill taking over FC, as they say if you can't beat them, you join them. She is a step or so ahead of Bill and we will see that before too long, well the ones of us that see how smart she really is, the ones that do not like her, will never give her any credit at all..

Makes me sad that some viewers cannot see that side of her, but then again if you do not like someone, you never see good in them. Many of us, see how smart she is in business, others not so much!! Bill is just being a jerk about all of this, because he does not care who he steps on to get what he wants, I would not count the Forresters out just yet..but that is just my opinion.

mdtuttle loved your posting. You are not a fan of Brooke but you are objective and that is admirable.
With that being said yes Brooke is a smart business woman and has proven this in the past and even Stephanie mentioned this in the past. According to rumors Brooke has a plan and I am wondering if her reasoning now is part of that plan. Of all the Logan sister's the one that has put her heart & soul in Forrester's has been Brooke and I believe she loves the company just as much as Eric, Ridge and Stephanie. Also, Stephanie made a point Eric made Katie PR of Forrester and this is how she thanks him? I cannot wait for Bill to crush her and he will. He is already eyeing Brooke and for Bill business/feelings are one in the same.

Thanks, BoldMama, I do not like when some people can only see Brooke as someone only interested in sex, they are not even beginning to see what a smart person she really is....guess they do not want to see that side of her....but they best hang on, because that side is about to come out with a vengence!!

bbgirl, I have thought from the very beginning when Bill said he was going to take over FC, that if Stephanie and Brooke could just get on the same page about FC that they could show those silly men just how it is done. I so wish that they would pair up and take Bill down to the ground...HARD!! Do not like him one bit, maybe I loved him as Brad on Y&R too many years, because he does nothing for me as Bill. Keep your fingers crossed that Stephanie and Brooke save the day once again for FC!!

Why would Stephanie want anything to do with Brooke after all the pain and humilitation she and her family has caused Stephanie? Forrester has slipped out of Stephanie's hands since Brooke became pregnant by Stephanie's husband. Brooke gained more Forrester power when she slept with her husband's son on the lab floor and divorced Eric taking another chunk of Forrester. For once I am glad that TPTB are letting Logan Creations go down the drain. The Logans have slithered in on thieir backs and ruined a whole company. The Logans and Eric have ALL treated Stephanie like dirt. Now why, oh why, would she even want to run in to save it for the Logans?

Forresters haven't Forresters for decads.(in name only). I have a feeling that after the company is aquired, Bill Jr will give it back to Stephanie to do with as she wants. It could be part of the will stipulation and only fitting.

In the mean time I can see the great business woman Brooke cut her sister's throat to gain control over what she thinks Katie has, even if it means dropping her underwear. The whole Logan bunch are self absurbed back stabbers.

Great points bb and md and we certainly can all hope that is exactly what happens. Loved the part about Stephanie forgiving Nick and Jackie, good point. But I am afraid Grammy is right, too many people hone in on Brooke and the sex part and cannot see that she is a smart business woman. I just pray that Stephanie remembers that and gives her a chance and they take Bill down, and they neither one have to drop their undies in order to get it done!!

It always seems that no matter what Brooke does she just cannot redeem herself in some eyes. Good thing she has a great fan base. Stephanie has more than paid Brooke back. She had already lost Eric before Brooke can along as a young girl . Eric the suave older man had already gone through the models and his assistant. He just made the mistake of falling in love and Stephanie lost her control of not only him, but her playboy son. Brooke just had the misfortune of being Beth's daughter. Brooke has fought hard for the company not only for herself but for Eric and Stephanie's family. She sold Nick her shares so she could help Eric buy back the company. Caroline married not only Ridge but also Thorne and Taylor married Ridge was going to marry Thorne, almost had an affair with Eric, and was engaged to Eric's son Rick. There has been alot of forgiving going on and I believe Stephanie and Brooke are due for some forgiving. They would make quite a team.
