vicc, I was just sitting here thinking the exact same thing...loved your post about the family at Christmas, why oh why must some of the other junk get mixed in?? I know that I will soon be told the answer to that one!! We will all miss Stephanie if she leaves the show, just hope that her health in real life is not the reason..

Hi shorty1943--I have missed you on the Board lately.

I think there are a number of posters who seem to have lost
interest with the Board because of those who hound the threads with the constant and repeated garbage...really a shame.

I wonder what the scoop is with tomorrow's episode concerning Stephanie. Stephanie has certainly been quite a character. She will be greatly missed if SF retires.

I have had company for about two weeks, so have not been on a lot and besides that sometimes I find it more enjoyable to just read. Do not take kindly to some posters never, ever saying anything positive, or always finding fault. I have noticed that the numbers of posters on most all threads have really gone down and I agree with you about the hounding that takes place, why say anything about one of your favorites when someone is just waiting to jump down your throat cause they do not like that same person...........I have really missed you, Ginger2 and michaelee, hope that they come back soon. It is nice seeing you on the boards again..never cared much for Stephanie and her always butting into others peoples lives, but she will certainly be missed. She is one heck of an actress and I do so love to hate her!!

Too funny, if it comes from people who don't like your characters you slam them. But you don't follow up on the people who slam the other characters. Would be nice to see the great ones see that it does come from both sides, and from some of the critcizers themselves.

When I say something postivie about people I like, it gets followed up with "bait trash" from the so called nice people on here. And I see it to so many others who like the same people I like. But we are the only ones accused of being mean and nasty.
Look at most of the threads, and say it isn't so.

What I have experienced -and seen -mostly--
are posters who respond negatively as a result of being hounded.
Posters feel a need to explain their post when attacked--
or take-up for a character that is unfairly attacked.
Even then--it is usually not in the same category for rudeness--or not as outlandish.
The hounders then use those responses to say--you do it too.
(There may be cases outside of the general.)

It is ok not to like a character and express that.
Debate and maybe some banter is fine.
Humor is great.

But the negative trolling on the threads like locust at every chance is un-called for.
Saying the same old slams constantly--
much of it WAY over-stated (and nasty)-
is just ruining the Board.
It seems like there are those who have a thing for doing this for whatever reason--
if only to read the rebuttals (often again and again).

You make mention of bait trash--only for a point to try and credit or validate yourself.
The man in the mirror indeed (sees what he wants to).

It's just got to the point --when you almost can't post ANYTHING for all the trash-bait that comes back so quickly...and it is not even relevant.

and NOT interested in responding to blah blah blah.

My concern is that the boards are fast losing our original posters, the ones that love the shows and have been blasted for so long and had to endure such hate, that they simply do not post anymore. It is just as easy to write something nice as something hateful and to once in a while have a positive thought even tho you do not care for a certain character. My most favorite is certainly not Stephanie or Steffy, but I am capable of saying something positive on occasion and do not jump on another poster when they disagree with me........

We have just lost so much on these boards and to me it is a shame, thank goodness the admin people have gotten a hold of it and cleaned it up, it had gotten to where one almost feared for their life if you ever had a different opinion from some of the baiters and haters. I have been scalped a few times and it is not fun. They are a pretty smart bunch and know who the trouble makers are and for that I thank them.

Post away, but no need to be nasty about it, that just loses the whole point of these boards. There are a few I will respond to because they are kind posters even tho we do not always agree, that is the way it is suppose to be. But I also know the ones that are going to come back in a mean fashion, thanks but no thanks on those, I will just read their post or not! Only haters and baiters will be left before too long and as I say that makes me sad...

Once again, I do not respond directly to your posts. I rarely read before I post. I usually respond to the original poster, then I read what everyone else says. Therefore, MY OWN OPINION.

When someone clicks on reply with quote, it shows that and it usually means that is the one you are responding to, that is why I am like you Judy, I normally do not respond to a certain post. However like on the third one down on this page, it would appear you are responding to vicc....just click on reply and it will not show you responding to someones' post..you are much better at this than I am, so I should not be giving you pointers on how to post!! Do not mean to offend..
