The Bold and the Beautiful - MESSAGE BOARDS

After having read many posts, opinions, reasonings and rants, I still cannot see how or why the Logan family should be perceived as anything special. There are thousands of families raised by struggling single mothers whose dads left. What makes these dimwits so special? Thats all Stephanie or Taylor have ever tried to get across. They should rename this show the bold and the ugly, as everyone but Eric, Ridge, and the Logans are treated that way.

I don't believe they are perceived as special, they are just not evil, and most certainly not tainted women. Every character except the small children have done their fair share of questionable deeds.

I don't know... tainted has many meanings and one being, moral contamination or to morally contaminate. Now when we talk about moral behavior or behavior lying just on the peripheral, only a couple of characters come to mind.
I just can't lump all of the characters on the show in the same pot as far as moral degradation. So to answer the question, in my opinion, they are perceived by some viewers as special while others perceive them as lacking and wanting. I perceive them as da_mned annoying, clinging, desperate and always in need of a male counterpart. But I like them all the same because some of them can add flair when the material calls for it!
