I AM SO FURIOUS!!!! As a woman who was brought up to believe, that there are VERY FEW THINGS that women can't do but men can, I am mad as a hellcat at the way Katie was treated by the Forresters and her sisters.
It was completely o.k. for Brooke to take over FC after inventing believe. She was hurt and angry that the Forresters tried to swindle it away from her and it was like:"O.K. I don't want Eric any more, my 'soulmate and destiny' is married to Taylor now.... If I can't have the man I love, I will take POWER as a substitute!" Uh, WHAT qualifications did SHE have to run such a big buisiness? Remind me please?! She did a good job, I don't deny that. BUT nobody knew that she would do so. I guess the lawyer who helped her to get CEO, also helped her to be a good buisiness-woman. Why does she doubt that Bill could do the same for Katie?
Oh and Donna was an absolutely "brilliant" CEO while Eric was in coma. HEr first act was to fire her head designer Ridge and the man who always took care to find good fabric for an acceptable price (Thorne) and another avant-guarde designer (Felicia). SHE TOOK REVENGE! [SARCASM]SUCH A SMART BUISINESS-WOMAN!!! [/SARCASM] At least Katie will think with her HEAD and not her libido!!! I said in another thread, that both Donna and Brooke always looked down on Katie and only treated her nice, when she was a good little sister, always looking up to her big sisters and doing what the wanted her to do!!! GMAB!

If two people do the same, it's by far not the same.

It was o.k. for Brooke and Donna to be CEO, but Katie?! NO WAY JOSE!! She doesn't have what it takes, even if she is a Logan.

My problem with this S/L is that I feel that Bill is just using Katie to get what he wants...I like Katie and I don't want to see her hurt by Bill....

You are probably right. The writers would never let any woman on this show be happy unless its Brooke or Donna.

I'm sorry but Katie has always been looking for a knight in shining armor to carry her off into the sunset, and that's the way she sees Bill! She's in for a rude awakening! While Bill may love Katie, he doesn't really know what love or being in love means.

And I suppose Ridge knows what love is? LOL

I think that it will be great and a learning experience for Katie if things go wrong between she and Bill. She needs war wounds to grow up and harden a bit. She will become her on woman with her experiences. I'm rooting for her in any fashion because it will only make her stronger. She will become a force to reckon with...

I know because I said that brooke so you dont think Ridge is using you. Thinks she knows about everybody else but dead wrong. Katie is going to let her have it when they have their rehash scene. katie is a sweetheart she just makes the wrong choices at times but not to particularly hurt anyone because shes a bad person. shes just looking for acceptance and I accept her so she should go ahead be with Bill and take FC from Forrester and forget all them idiots. thats mad because she found better than them.

I think Bill will make Katie a strong CEO.You can do anything when driven to do it.Now that Katie knows how her sisters really see her I hope she Kicks their butts.You go Katie and may the forces be with you.Show them who is boss.I love this idea and think Katie will learn Bills tricks and trick him if he plays dirty.She is a fast learner and is capable of doing the job.Now that everyone has showen their true colors they have given her even more strength.How dare her sisters and family act like she is such a wimp!!!

I don't believe her sisters think she is stupid. Katie was the baby and she was always protected by her family. She was shy and did not see her self as beautiful and smart as her sisters. Her sisters still think of her this way and feel protective of her. They will hash it out amongst themselves, because that is what families do. Katie will prove to them that she is no longer the baby and can stand on her own and her sisters will respect her.
