Quote bbgirl:
Quote BoldMama: They definitely don't need Stephanie to help them with anything. I believe that she has done more than enough. Can anyone say "The Logan Chronicles". They are still trying to recover from the backlash of that mess!!

What backlash could she have EVER created if the industry, as a whole, did not see her as the real force and backbone of FC?? If they had even half of the respect for Eric, Brooke, Donna and Ridge's business acumen as they obviously do for Stephanie's, the Logan Chronicles would not have been any real effect at all. Other than the public's neverending interest in scandalous gossip, the buyers and fashion industry would have simply dismissed it as a scorned womans backlash; it would have barely produced a blip in their sales and it certainly wouldnt have plummeted the Company into almost bankruptcy....IF the industry truly saw the people in charge of it as really capable. The truth is she was able to create backlash AND take buyers and accounts with her to Jackie M because the industry RESPECTS her...something they do not do for Eric, Brooke, Donna and Ridge.

The Logan Chronicles, hurt their company and her kids. "Ms. Bitter Stephanie", being the business savvy person she is, went on an ill-thought out rant, that served no purpose, other-than to make the Logans look bad and herself look even worse. She should've used her business connections to help Jackie M, not Eric's designs, his daughter and not scandal to get that company to the top. Yea, the industry respects her, but they also respect Eric as a creative genious.
Quote bbgirl: As usual, very well stated. I was extremely happy when Eric gave her the boot. He finally stood up to her and what did she do, she took it public. I don't think she ever heard the old saying "what goes on in your house, stays in your house".
...and then when he stood around looking stupid over the immigrant thing and she turned it all around on Bill....he asked HER to come back, to which, thankfully, she told him to take a hike. Then..in his little conversation with Ridge about stepping aside he had the audacity to tell Ridge how happy he was that he stuck by them when Stephanie, Thorne and Felicia..in HIS words..."abandoned" them? Excuse me? Hmmm...guess the old geezer is also losing his memory too....you can't abandon something you are booted out of.
Please put the blame where it belongs. If it weren't for Stephanie, and her spiteful ways, Bill would've never known about those workers. So thanks Steph.

I couldn't have been any more proud of Eric than the day when he kicked Stephanie out of the company. It was long overdue. Thorne and Felicia did not get kicked out of the company, they did abandon him.

I'm not saying that what she did was the right way to handle things; I'm just saying it wouldnt have created any real damage as you contend "unless" the industry sees her as the "real" force behind FC. In order to wield power, you have to have power. To have power, someone or something has to give it to you. In this instance "who" is giving Stephanie the power? Can't really be the public. Sure, they like juicy scandals, but that peaks "interest" more than disdain in this day and age. I would venture to say the Logan chronicles would have peaked the publics interest into buying not rejecting. So...where does Stephanies power come from? Has to be the buyers and distributors. So..logically...if the industry sees Eric in even "half" of the same light as they do Stephanie, she wouldnt be able to wield the kind of power you are giving to her for their demise. They may see Eric as a creative genius, but they certainly don't see him as a smart and capable businessman. Nor do they Brooke, Ridge or Donna. Otherwise Stephanie couldnt have affected their bottom line so much.

And how is it Stephanie's fault that Bridget wanted to work at Jackie M and Rick sent them Eric designs...both of which happened BEFORE she went there??? And as far as the scandal making Jackie M more profitable than FC...well, there's that whose giving Stephanie the power and WHY thing again???

There you go giving Stephanie all the power again Bill came to LA with the intention of getting FC..that's the S/L. So, you are saying Bill wouldn't have found out anyway? Stephanie's bitterness wasn't the catalyst, but a happy by product as far as Bill was concerned. He was going to find whatever dirt he could. There wouldnt have been any logan chronicles without him ya know.
But I do have to say it is interesting how blindly loyal "you" are. I would abandon a father too who constantly ignored me and promoted all my siblings with the Logan women over me all the time. I think Thorne has "more" than proved his loyalty over the years. So has Felicia. Just proves why the industry doesnt have as much respect for Eric. To call what Felicia and Thorne did as abandonment was absolutely ludicrous in light of his treatment of them, dont you think?

I agree that Bill came to LA with every intention of taking over FC. Let me be clear about this, Stephanie told Bill about the workers. He didn't have to lift a finger to get the information. Stephanie was and is bitter, especially where anything Logan is concerned. No, there wouldn't be a Logan Chronicles without Stephanie!!

Let's clear something up, yes I am a loyal fan of Brooke and her family, but never confuse my loyalty with me being blind about anything.

Thorne and Felicia were adults and they acted like 2 year olds when they didn't get their way. So what, the Logans are getting more attention. Get over it. Donna is his wife. Their actions were immature at best. Instead of pouting and whining, they should've done something to help salvage FC, and not abandon their father when he needed them the most. I will repeat this one more time, Thorne and Felicia did abandon FC.

Obviously, the public gave Stephanie the power she needed with the Logan Chronicles.

The public buys the magazines, shops at their stores, buys their clothes and reads and believes everything they see and hear.

If they don't buy the clothes, FC don't make money.
If they aren't making money they can't pay back their loans.
If they can't pay back their loans, they lose their company.

It's not Stephanie's fault that Bridget is working at Jackie M. It's also not her fault that Rick gave away his father's designs to Jackie M. The scandal is HER FAULT. Jackie M and Stephanie wouldn't be profitable without Eric's daughter's talent, Eric's sons' greed, and Eric's brilliant designs.

Bill did his homework, he knew the Forresters weakness. First he started with Stephanie playing on her hurt from being let go at Forresters. He fed into that by offering her a way to get back at the Logans. That started weakening the company. He tried with Donna and that didn't work, so he turned his attention to Katie. Splitting her from her sisters. He is trying to weaken the foundation so that the company will crumple and he can pick up the pieces. I think the whole family, yes that includes Stephanie, the Logans, Thorne, Felicia, Rick, Ridge will fight Bill.
