A young man. Just doesn't make sense to me. I could understand if he never had children, but he has plenty of them. |

I think it's a really grand gesture. Eric wants to give Marcus a 'real' place in the family. |

Eric doesn't even pay attention to the children he already has. When is the last time he had a kind word for Thorne? Felicia? Does he even know what Kristin is up to these days? There is no reason to be "adopted" to feel that you have a place in the family. And what about Marcus adoptive parents? Have they even been consulted about this decision? This whole thing is beyond unrealistic and probably not even legal! |

You are right Eric can't even take care of the children he got now, |

Is it even legal to be adopted by two families? As of today he has three dad's, the adopted unknown name dad, Eric and now Justin. You would think that Donna would have told Eric about Justin being Marcus' dad prior to the completion of the adoption process. Seems just stupid to be talking about an adoption process for a grown man! Is Donna really that conniving to wait before telling Eric to ensure her sons future role in Forrester? I wouldn't have thought so but she hasn't told Eric, so... Now that the dye is cast she tells Justin that he is Marcus' father. Something could stink here but I'll reserve my opinion until further S/L. |

Now Eric can ignore and screw Marcus over like he does the rest of his kids! |

I don't think Eric should be adopting Marcus either, but it is a nice gesture on his part...Marcus said that his adoptive Parents took good care of him,but thats all they did for him...Marcus never got the love of a father or Mother from them..And Marcus longed for that, and thats why the adoptove parents have no problem with Eric adopting him,but his real dad is there now,and he going to have a big problem with it...I am so thrilled Texas Battle finally got a storyline of his own... |

So true, Marcus has and "ache" for home that lives in all of us. Some place where we can go to be loved, safe and to be who we are. I just hope the writers do right with this storyline. |

Marcus needs to get off of the teet already! He is a grown man and yes, I'm sure he is still sore about daddy not being in the stands during the big games and all...but gee whiz, dude...GROW THE HECK UP! |

How in the green grass that grows can a grown man be adopted? I'm still trying to figure that one out...Eric is such a spineless fool--Donna has him *whipped* so bad that he thinks he's actually being benevolent or something by putting Marcus in his will, giving him the Forrester name. It's just so dang silly and unbelievable...adopting a grown man...and this show won an Emmy? GMAB... Everybody needs and wants love, and give love even a grown man or woman for that matter...We are in a new era and it is easier for men to show their feels and tell their wants...Marcus has longed for love and to be loved, and to be able to have a place he can call home for once in his life...And to be surround by people who can tell him I am proud of you son and you did a great job son,and I am there when you need me son through the good/bad in your life..I have a feeling Marcus just did not get all that from his adoptive parents at all..I don't want Eric adoptive him either, because Marcus has a dad and he just found out he has son,and he wants to get know him and become that dad Marcus sees in Eric... |
