That was a great post.As for me I have the same feelings.I will say that when Brooke makes a stupid move it upsets me then in the end she knew what she was doing. I think the thing I hated most was that when she got raped. |

I didn't start watching BB until the episode where Ridge was trying to get Brooke to sign over BeLieF. I remember thinking here is a woman that loves that snake with everything in her. I have liked Brooke since that day. She is scrappy and loyal. Yes she did have the horrible lapse of judgment where Deacon was concerned. IT took a while for me to forgive her. With Brooke you always know where you stand. And for that I will always be in her corner. |

Great Thread Michaelee....I have also loved Brooke since day one. She is the main reason I enjoy this show soo much. She lights up the screen when she's on. I even love her scenes with SF. Brooke has come a long way from that star struck college girl from the valley. She has made soo many mistakes during the years, it's not even funny! What gets me is the fact that she owns them. She never runs from them, no matter how bad it may seem. I've said this before, Brooke loves hard and sometimes can forgive too easily for my tastes, but I love her anyway. I like that the show is finally showing her comedic side. It makes her even more likeable in my book. |

Brooke is a fascinating character; KKL is perfect for the role. |

Gosh you guys have said it all so well. I have loved Brooke since day one. I loved her close connection to her family. I hated the Deacon SL, but loved the Nick the captain SL. I can't understand why she always forgives Ridge, but I love that their love keeps pulling them back towards each other and their love grows stronger. I love the way she can pick herself up after being kicked down and get on with her life. I know she has made major mistakes but she acknowledges them and pays the price. I love how even now she still is very forgiving. I love her laughter and her silliness. I really enjoy watching her story play out. |

I think the thing I hated most was that when she got raped. Brooke is really great yet I do still love Taylor just as much.I really am not happy the way the writers have made her into just a wimp of a woman.I am glad to know that in real life that they really get along and really like working together and never bash each other in real life thay actually complemant each other of their freinship. As I said this is a very nice post.Thank You. Ok! I do appreciate your sense of fairness and honesty. It is ok to to love both characters and while I am not a fan of Taylor's, I do hate to see the way the writers have made her character weaker and weaker each year. Having said that, I think being a victim of rape is a terrible thing. The scenes from that SL were powerful because to see Brooke recluse from the happy person she normally is was sad. I think what was most surprising about this whole predicament was the attitude of some people like Ashley, who accused Brooke of using her rape to take Ridge away from her. How can people be so insensitive and Stephanie, who has a history of inviting strange men into other people’s lives, did not first admit to her part in the rape. Instead, she disappeared leaving Brooke to deal with her own demons. For me, that SL forced me to be more aware of my surrondings and it also caused me to beef up my security at home. I shudder when I think about the fact that if that were to happen to me, I do not know how I would handle it. When I was a teenager, my aunt was raped while coming home from work one evening. It has been several years and even though she has had several therapy sessions, they did not seem to help because to this day, it is still an emotional and mental challenge for her. I just think that people ought to put themselves in the victim’s shoes before being so insensitive as I have seen some be on this board. |

Those are some pretty scarce qualities to find in a relationship today. However, I think they are necessary ingredients for a successful relationship. Do you think that Ridge recognizes the prize he has in Logan though? Because I am thinking that if he truly did, then it is time he changes his playboy ways. What do you think - does Ridge deserve Logan? |

When Brooke smiles, her fans smile with her - the whole mood changes on screen. I agree that she loves hard but is that not a motivation for her forgiving so easily? I also think that because she has made so many mistakes in her life, her willingness to forgive may stem from the fact that she does not see herself as being perfect, so it makes her less judgemental of others. You know these last few days, we have watched Stephanie battling an illness and I hoped that she is not leaving B&B because her scenes with Brooke will be surely missed. I am of the opinion that Brooke draws her strength from some of the battles and challenges she has faced in her life. And Stephanie certainly has provided Brooke a lot of practice over the years, in fact, I will go out on a limb and say that her battles with Brooke has helped shape and mould Brooke into the woman she is today. However, make no mistake, Stephanie does loves Brooke in her own strange way, in fact, I have heard Stephanie admit that to Brooke on more than one occasion. Moreover, in spite of their countless disagreements, she knows that she can always count on Brooke's loyalty to the Forrester’s and FC when she needs it. |

Newlife, your last paragraph? They "really get along"? Where do you get this from? KKL never says anything about her castmates negatively, but those closer know more than your statement. |

I read someplace about your recent trip to the B&B fan club luncheon where you described the line for lunch with KKL being longer than the one with HT. I was thinking to myself - what would I expect from lunch with HT. edited by admin - banned for three days for actor bashing. While Brooke on the other hand, will be there smiling with her eyes while revelling in the attention she is getting. Moreover, I bet she will be answering all the fans questions until she is exhausted. Just my thoughts. |

Great post about KKL she is such a lovely human being and has that great smile. No one could play Brooke and it is because of KKL that Brooke is so loveable. Joanna Johnson former Caroline/Karen on B&B mentioned in an interview years ago that she admired KKL. The reason she said this is because KKL always came to work upbeat and happy and was not like her (JJ) that at times came to work grumpy etc. She went on to say that KKL was liked by the entire cast and was a true professional and a beautiful person all around. SF, RM and JM all mentioned this as well about KKL. |

This started out as such a lovely thread, just what the Brooke fans wanted, it was asked nicely at the very beginning for it to not end up being a bashing thread, do not see how hard that can be. So many other sites that you can do what you want, no need to invade this one and turn it into something that none of us want....hopefully this will not end up being a Brooke vs Taylor thread since that was not the intent, and there are plenty sites out there for that, or maybe start a new thread and leave this one for the people that truly appreciate Brooke..thanks Michaelee for starting this, it is great to read what all the Brooke fans feel.... |
