Why didn't Eric go borrow it from the bank? Because he DID marry Stephanie. No one held a shotgun to his head! He AND Stephanie made Forrester great! Donna saving Forresters remnants is nothing had Stephanie not have added to the companys success, along with Eric, long, long ago. Eric has even acknowledged this not too long ago! |

Eric and Stephanie started the company together and made it a success, but a lot of people along the way have made major contributions. |

I don't think anybody is denying the fact that Douglas family money started Forrester's, but the company has been sold, and bought back with money Eric borrowed from the bank! Stephanie sold all remaining interests in the company and properties just last year, which means, she doesn't own any part of the company! |

Not only did her family money start the business, it has been said by all...including Eric....that Stephanie was the brains behind the business. Eric could have designed a million dresses but without Stephanie as the backbone of the company it wouldn't be what it is. Eric has said it many times, as well as any competitor that has been on the show. She had as much contribution as Eric's designs. Behind every great man is a great woman pushing him. Would Eric have been so talented without her? |

Stephanie is a great lady, but Eric has his talents in designing. I think that is where Bridget gets her talents from in that department.. her father. |

We can all agree that Douglas money started FC. But as it was already stated - the company has changed hands and was purchased by Eric. Stephanie truly is no longer any part of an owner of FC. She has caused more trouble throughout the years - than contributing to the company. Every single time she starts in about how it is for their children to inherit - she needs to bow out - as it is not her decision anymore. Donna has also contributed since she and Eric got married. Without Eric's talent - there would have been no FC. Stephanie has no designer talent at all. And her business sense gets all screwed up with her vindictiveness. |

She was the business end of the business and knew all top exectives to help push it forward. The business was for the children after she and Eric retired. If Eric were to not leave it to the children of he and Stephanie, would be a disgrace. I bet Stephanie has her share of Jackie M, left to her children in the event anything happens to her.

When a divorce happens - there are no winners. Someone always loses a bit more than the other it seems. But things are okay financially for both Eric and Stephanie. Stephanie's business sense greatly distressed the company at one time, as was stated by Ridge, years ago! It was the Bedroom Line that kept the company afloat! This happened in a period when Stephanie has full control of the company! |
