This whole Jackie and Owen and now Steffy situation cannot but remind me of another triangle that has been going on for years (well sort of).
Jackie is fun, witty and sexy. She uses her sexiness for public image. Remember Brooke's Bedroom?
Owen confiding in Steffy and Steffy playing the supportive, sensitive "friend". She tells Owen she understands him and she has the same belief as he does. (Does this remind anyone of someone) Boy the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree.
Owen playing the wounded poor husband part and it was not long ago he wanted Donna to cheat on Eric. So much for the constitution of marriage. Double standards anyone?

People's past should not condemn them to be lied and cheated on. now owe was a slimy little weaseal when he came on the scence. but frankly he has nothing on jackie. who was trying to put the moves on eric while he with stephanie...cheated on a disabled massimo with deacon...but she is the poor little lamb being mistreated by owen? when she cheated and didn't bother to fill him on on her past..

Not only that, Jackie took a big risk with Owen, she knows absolutely nothing about his past either. Therefore, why would she blurt her past to him without knowing anything about his?

In addition, I would like to think that most people have the common sense to let some things about their past, that are not detrimental to their relationship, remain where it is. Otherwise, they run the risk of being judged by their past actions, especially if they have worked hard to change their image.

You know what, if Owen wasn't in such a rush to marry Jackie, they wouldn't be in this situation now. She wanted to wait to get married, but noooo, he had to sneak off and marry her in a secret wedding. They don't know each other.
