Quote michaelee: I am sorry but I have to agree that she does love her family in her own strange, twisted way. That's all she lives for. LOL......don't be sorry! We're all here to express our opinions. I have no problem when someone sees it different than I do. But...be warned, you'll never, never convince me that what Stephanie does or feels has anything at all to do with love. Oh, and I meant to add....."strange and twisted" ???? That should be a clue that somethin' ain't right......LOL |

Quote notahottie: A stroke doesn't mean you have dimentia or Alzheimer's. It can however totally alter you thought process, ability to think and speak, depending on it's severity. Believe me I had one at the age of 47 and only with prompt medical assistance did I fully recover. If this s/l would teach viewers the signs and the benefits of getting help quickly it would be a great thing. Wow, this could have been written by me. I was 47 too. Caused by an undetected PFO. |

Quote susanny1129: Wow, this could have been written by me. I was 47 too. Caused by an undetected PFO. My stroke was caused by a dissection of my left carotid artery. My first syptom was a killer headache (which I basically ignored thinking "it's just a headache"). The stroke itself occurred three days after that first symptom. As I said I would hope the writers use this s/l as a teaching tool. No one should ignore the signs of a stroke but we all need to be aware of them. There is a GREAT book called My Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor. Anyone who has had a stroke or knows someone who has should take a look at her amazing story (you can also check her out on youtube). |

All of the bad stuff should be happening to Stephanie not Beth. |

Stress can be a motivating factor but there is usually an underlying medical problem This probably would have happened had Eric been adopting Justin or not. |

I agree she has been through so much a lesser person would have crumbled. Stefanie is a great wonderful matriarch, yesterdays episode should have proven that. |

I too agree that Stephanie loves her family...but she's a mother with faults like most. She loves her sons differently with Ridge having the advantage. She despises the Logan Family because they've been a legitimate source of pain for her family. By far, Stephanie is the strongest character on this soap. She fights dirty when she has to and does it very well. Wouldn't want her to be my enemy. |

Susan Flannery is an outstanding actress! During her scene in the office meeting at Jackie M just hours after her character Stephanie left the hospital---you could tell the other actors were just in awe of this lady's talent. Simply amazing the depth and authenticity she displays in her acting... |

Quote Touched: This week finds Stephanie learning that Eric has intentions of adopting Marcus! She doesn't like it one bit, and she's outspoken about it! Then, she suffers a mild stroke! She's so stressed out over the Marcus/Eric thing that she fails to consider the possibility that something else may be compromising her health! And Steffy won't be helping her grandmother's conditions, because she agrees to keep quiet about persistent symptoms that Stephanie is having! The story didn't pan out like you laid it out. Stephanie wasn't all outraged over it, and really didn't dwell on it when she left the office. I thought according to you, that she would be yelling and having a fit. That didn't happen. I think the stroke is everything, but not the Marcus thing at all. |

Susana, you meant to say adopting Marcus, didn't you? |

I also believe I said that she would be outspoken about it! She was! She was sure the children wouldn't like the idea at all. She was wrong on that account! Stephanie doesn't have to stomp around the office to get her point across, what comes out of her mouth is enough to let us know, she's unhappy! I don't think that Marcus' adoption contributes to the stroke and I didn't say that! Strokes are generally a symptom of a disease or a result of poor physical condition! |

Seems like I remember, reading in the news last year,or the first part of this year Stephanie was out with a real bothersome condition. I believe at that time it was mentioned that she may retire. I am wondering if that day is coming. I love Stephanie and I think she plays her charactor great. I hope she does not retire. Stephanie is one person that no one can ever say she does not truly love her family. She has gone over board alittle but she is a beautiful person. O M G ! ! I can't say it!!!!! Stephanie does NOT love her family........because she has no clue what love IS! She wants what she wants, and she's willing to kill, (yes, I did say kill) anyone who gets in her way. She's shown us over and over who and what she is.....and I believe her! Love is not a word I'd ever attach to her name! |
