Don't get me wrong, I'm very impressed that they all made peace today, and ridge finally said pheobes death was a tragic accident, and realized rick wasn't at fault. He said he needed someone to blame. I found the whole thing very touching. What bothers me tho is ridge and brooke having this meeting like they own the place. Brooke telling felicia that she has issues with donna and they will be addressed, like donna ever started this all. And excuse me brooke, but the owner is gonna have an issue if his wife keeps getting attacked by his family. Wasn't eric aware of this meeting going on without him. Brooke and ridge need to understand their place in the company and not talk to thorne and felicia like they are paid help when they have more of a right to the company then brooke. Ya they act like spoiled brats and I can't stand them half the time, but they are blood brooke isn't. She is the mother of two of erics kids and they have a right to the company, but she don't. She has a very high position for all the work she did isn't that good enough. I will be totally disgusted if these lamebrains try and take the company again. All of erics kids should have equal share.

This show is just a continous repeat of Ridge and Brooke breaking up, making up and beginng a fresh start. It's getting old, they're getting old. Shouldn't the writers settle them down and let the younger group pick up a story line. The Brooke, Ridge, Taylor story line is exhausted.

Isn't it normal for families to hash out their differences after a fight? I think Eric will be pleased because that is all he ever wanted, peace and harmony in his family and that everyone try to co-exist. Remember too that Brooke is Donna's sister.

I still do not understand why you would view this family meeting as being a hostile takeover of some sort of FC by Brooke and Ridge! The family members present were the ones with serious issues that could affect the day-to-day running of the company. Moreover, as for Eric's children having equal share, I did not know you were privy to Eric's intentions.

The bottom line is - this is a business and it takes serious people who are committed to make it successful. They all do not possess the same talent, so they serve according to their own ability and experience. They cannot all be presidents or ceo and they are very well aware of who is in charge. Do you expect Eric to iron out the differences of these adult people? As far as I know, Eric is not even aware of the extent of their feud; in fact, I do not think he has any knowledge of the two-attempted murder on Rick's life by Thomas.

Whether you want to admit it or not, Brooke has been and will continue to be an integral part of the Forrester family dynasty that includes FC. She is a smart and shrewd businessperson who has spent her entire life in a company honing her skills. Her experience is needed and welcome at FC and I have heard both Ridge and Eric acknowledge this time to time.

So yes, Ridge and Brooke have taken the high and mighty road to ensure that the family stays in tack and that the business grows and have continued success. I have no problems with that.

good thing this is a soap.

cause in reality nobody in the right mind would want brooke in thier family after she has had kids with both son and father.

thorne has no reason to like Donna period and there should be intense hatred for eric after he took up with donna after the way she used thorne. ofcourse i stopped expecting family loyality from this nasty funky bunch over a decade ago.

i think this sudden peace treaty is bogus.....especially after all the crap brooke and ridge have put people through.

PLUS, TJMOM, how about the way everything in the company has been handed to Ridge Marone by Eric - WHILE HE IGNORES HIS OWN REAL SON, THORNE? ?

No, don't expect Eric to "iron out differences" - BUT I DO EXPECT HIM TO BE A MAN AND ACKNOWLEDGE HIS OWN SON, THORNE, INSTEAD OF IDEALIZING RIDGE MARONE!!!

Ridge called the meeting as CEO to try to get his family together. Bringing back Felicia and Thorne to their rightful place as was acknowledged and to make amends with Rick. I would hope that at least Thorne would be grateful to Donna who saved him from a drug addiction after Darla died and he broke off with Taylor, his own father and mother didn't see his spiraling out of control. I would hope that trying to bring your family together would be seen as a good thing.

I think it was a great idea to have a family meeting and iron out the difference and try to find some kind of truce, so they can work together not only as a family but a team with the same common interest~ Forrestor Creations. I do think however that Felicia and Thorne need to be treated with more respect, since it is their parents company. I hope the writers pull them off the backburner and give them more of a story line.

I like Thorne and Felicia when they are not whiny like today. Thorne is Mr. Nice Guy, maybe Darla had a twin. Dante could come back to see his son and Felicia could have that hunk back in her life.

For one I have a right to my own opinion. I never said it was a fact. I feel that brooke has agreat position at forrester, and her and ridge at one time had a plan for a takeover I may add while his father was in a coma. And I feel yes opinion that thorne and felicia were asked back like they r the hired help. Brooke yes deserves executive position, she isn't gonna have a piece of company like thorne and felicia will. It was brookes demeaner that irritated me. A few days ago she's crying and whining and going to paris, then cause her beloved ridge wants her back she totally changes. Also I said to that it was a touching scene when they made up. I thought it was a good thing, I don't remember saying it wasn't.

Exactly..........Brooke has proven that she's a very important part of Forrester Creations. When she took her leave of absence this last time, there were several mentions by Eric about how they needed her there. The day she came back Ridge made a big deal about how much it helped to have her back at work.
As far as the way Eric treats Ridge compared to his other children? Well, for how many years did everyone think that Eric was Ridge's biological dad? And even when he found out that he wasn't, he considers Ridge his son just like anyone would. I don't find it strange at all. Blood doesn't make a family, love and commitment makes a family.
