To begin with, responding to this post is hard for me because I remember those scenes myself. I saw the hurt in Taylor when she hit Darla. Taylor had just gotten a phone call from her daughter that she was walking home . Taylor was horrified about her being on that curvey road and she knew she had been drinking, But she cared more about what could happen to her daughter than what would happened to herself if she got caught. It was an accident. Every place you go to bring this up under the keyword search, you will see it was an accident.
The next you brought to us was a lady that had battled the same woman over and over again to try to keep her husband. She married someone she truly loved and this one woman could not stand it. Brook has always wanted Ridge. Ridges wife Caroline just before she died wanted Ridge to have the woman of his dreams, Brook. But Taylor and Ridge got close and they were married. All Taylor wanted was to be free of Brook always taking away Ridge from her.
Taylor finds someone that she believes she can have a happy life with. They plan a child together and pick the egg donor and Taylor carried this child she thought was going to be hers for 9 months inside her. Feeding the baby inside her so it can live. Taylor was so happy.
Then what happened. She found out Brook had once again interfered with her life. Brook was the donor of the child that grew. Taylor was devestated. Who wouldn't be. The one person she tried to escape from was Brook and now she had been carrying Brooks child inside her all that time.
And you dont think she had a right to get upset?
Did anyone think it was funny and Taylor deserved that? I don't
And the Last is about a Woman that was supposed to be dead. She was taken care of and her ID was held from her family. Once she remembered who she was, she was married to another but longed for her true Husband. She did everything she could to get back to her family. She was told that the family would be better off without knowing she was still alive. They had buried their mother and wife. Taylor could not stand not seeing her family.
I remember the night as if it were today how Ridge went to the cemetery and kneeled by her headstone. Taylor crying in the background wanting so much to let him know she was alive. When he saw her standing there, he could not believe it. He wanted so bad for it to be Taylor. Well, we all know what happened. Taylor told Ridge everything, how she had lost her memory and how she had been taken care of and how she had married the man that had raised her from the dead. Ridge could not handle it so he was upset.
I understand that but dont believe Taylor deserved what she got then either.
well, that is just my opinion.
I just think when some things are left out of a story, there is room for all sorts of add on's that may not be correct. Taylor has really had a lot of bad s/l's this last year and I hope they allow her to have a change and be happy WITHOUT EVER wanting Ridge again.
Taylor has never claimed to be a Saint. She has many times said she was not perfect.

The accident, and it was that, that claimed Darla's life, was an unfortunate set of circumstances that happened! It was a very foggy night which inhibits distance driving. It was on a coastal highway. Phoebe did not pull over far enough off the road. She should have stayed in the car and called the police if she was frightened. Surely, she was old enough and could have called for roadside assistance. Darla herself, was wearing dark clothes and couldn't be seen well. At that point she should have realized that the car was too close to the road and made an adjustment. She lost her grip and fell into the road.

Unfortunately, Taylor had been drinking and really had no business being behind the wheel. She should have called the police, who would have responded quicker! Taylor was given probation for driving drunk and her license was suspended. She was found innocent by a court of law, for vehicular manslaughter!

You know what, I could actually sympathize with Taylor regarding the drunk driving situation if - 1) she had first called the police before trying to rescue Phoebe and 2) if she wasn't so callous about going after the dead woman's husband and child - that is sick because at the time Thorne was unaware that she was the culprit he was searching for. My hope is that when Ally gets older, she will read her the riot act and cause her some grief. Sure it was an accident but clearly one that could have been avoided had she exercised some common sense but then again she was under the influence right. Her actions after the accident was worst than the accident itself.

You said "The next you brought to us was a lady that had battled the same woman over and over again to try to keep her husband." Well, she absolutely gets no sympathy from me here. Taylor was the hired professional in this situation. She was paid to do a job and what did she do instead, she helped herself to the patient. She knowingly placed herself in the midst of that triange. As is typical Taylor behaviour, she went into it with her eyes wide open. What followed should not be a surprise to her, so if a battle ensued to keep her husband, as you put it, then she is the one that consciously created that battle. So, if she have lost all common sense and reasoning and continues to pursue Ridge, she will never be free of Brooke because Bridge will always be around. That is a reality.

And what right does Taylor have to be upset about who the egg donor is? Did she specify to the doctors that it was not to be Brooke's? If you ask me, she should be relieved because at least she has some idea of the DNA make up of her child. If she did not specify, the egg could have come from anyone with some real issues that could end up being a character trait as the child grows. Also, you mentioned the fact that it was a planned pregnancy and that she happily carried the child for nine months, feeding him so he can live! Well I guess the experience must have not meant much to her because not long after giving birth, Taylor walked out of this same child's life and with such ease too. Again, as a shrink, you would think she has enough common sense to realize the psychological effects her actions can have on baby Jack in the future. No child wants to know his parent(s) walked out on him. That was not Brooke interfering in her life, that was Taylor once again being a weak, pathetic, spineless mother. When she was pregnant with Jack, the one thing I found funny was the time when she was bashing Brooke and the baby kicked her so hard, she jumped.

It will be too time consuming to go into the s/ls's of her presumed death and twice disappearance. All I know is there was a time when she did not want to be found. I too remember vividly when they were searching for her and she was hiding behind a column or something. I wondered then why she was doing that and I know it wasn't because she suffered a memory lost.

I am of the opinion that Taylor is responsible for a lot of the headaches and grief in her own life and even though she may not have said she is a saint, her actions tell a different story. That's the main reason why Ridge walked out of her life when he discovered she slept with James Warwick and she and Stephanie kept it a secret, while at the same time rediculing Brooke every chance they got. Ridge called them hypocrites for making it seem like Brooke is the worst when they were no better. He further went on to say that with Brooke, at least he knows who he is dealing with. That was the day that the tone of his love for Taylor changed.

What's the saying - actions speak louder than words. i.e. Sometimes it is not what you say but how you say it that matters.

Okay, I don't have time right now to sit and read this whole post, but I read enough the beginning. Taylor knew she had been drinking, knew her licence were SUSPENDED, KNEW the police have little things called EMERGENCY VEHICLES and I am SURE they have Tripple A. There are a number of things Taylor could have done to avoid the accident (I don't deny the accident part), but she did not do it. She made a choice and killed a woman with a young child and husband who both loved her VERY MUCH! Now, that being said, let me excuse the whole very first point and get to the REAL issue that I have with the situation, the FACT that she totally LIED and caused a big...HUGE blown out mess out of the whole situation. Let Thorne pine away over not knowing who killed his wife, why would someone hit her and not stick around to help her? And all the other questions he so badly needed answered! THEN she, fully knowing exactly what happened, TOOK HIM ON AS A PATIENT! OMG! SICK! THEN, like other times, she started scroggin her PATIENT, played MOMMY to Ally....I could go on!!
As for her "Never claiming to be a saint" NO, she never said "I AM A SAINT" but she sure as crap never denied it when others said it! She was MORE than willing to let everyone else pin her with the title! Modesty was NEVER an aspect of her character! And how many times did she tell Brooke about all of HER faults, when she was hiding some serious crap of her own?? Like, a GAZILLION!

As far as I am concerned Taylor the so called saint as you put it should be thanking the almighty that Ridge picked Brooke, that guy is the booby prize.

Everone has got this one to a big-T good job. Here is my opion If Stephanine was not Ridge's mother she would be trying to hook up with him to and then if they wanted to do a lesbian story on B&B they can put Stephanine and Taylor together cause I think Stephanine has loved Taylor more then Ridge has his hole time knowing her.

Now who accused Brooke of begging Ridge and Taylor of being the sophisticated one?

Enjoy!

To begin with, responding to this post is hard for me because I remember those scenes myself. I saw the hurt in Taylor when she hit Darla. Taylor had just gotten a phone call from her daughter that she was walking home because she didnt want to ride with Rick.

Whoooo hoooo!!!!!!!! Excellent post!

Considering Taylor has screwed Brooke's father, brother, and son on the Logan side. Ridge, Thorne, and shared a kiss with Eric on the Forrestor side. Makes her kind of sound like the Ho that did screw grandpa. It's funny how Brooke is criticized for the things she has done wrong, yet Taylor's actions are defended.Taylor has bedded more men then Brooke has period. While Brooke isn't an angel, Taylor definitely doesn't qualify for sainthood.
