Nick needs to buy a clue. HE railed at his mother to mind her own buisness and stay out of his romantic life when he was with KAtie. Well now he needs to take some of his own advice and leave his mother alone. She is happy with Owen and it's not like she is some wide eyes innocent little girl that Owen can lead around by the nose. JAckie has gone into this with her eyes wide open. OWen makes her happy, even if she is making a mistake it is her mistake to make. Nick neds to grow up and let his mother live her own life. |

His mother is indeed a grown woman and even IF Owen is a gold-digger I think she can handle him. She handled situations and men a lot worse than this! I hate to bring it up, but let's not forget how she made money after her first husband left her!!! So she has been in life's sh++ can, did what she had to do, to survive ... I think she can handle Owen and maybe the disappointment when she finds out that he is just another ba+++rd! "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!" well, let's have a woman who just had her illusions destroyed and add some spice into this soup - aeh, sorry I meant soap!!!

Nick needs to stop this behavior of his. He's going way to far and I think even Bridget is annoyed by it. He needs to back off and give his mother some space and let her be happy, no matter what happens in her marriage. This just shows that he not only does not trust Owen but he doesn't trust her judgement as well. She should be given more credit than that. She is a grown woman and she seems like she could handle it if her marriage doesn't work out. |
