So lets dish on our B&B men. And just so we are crystal clear i am in no way referring to the actors but only the character that they play.
Eric: well its no wonder his boys cant maintain a healthy relationship what type of role model has this man been with all his affairs and carrying ons. Even now as a man in his golden years he cant keep it in his pants. he left his wife i dont even know how many times an always for a younger woman. he was even with crazy shelia! he has always been betrayed as this wonderful loving man but when you really take a look at him he is not faithful nor honest even with himself an always rolls back to Steph.
Ridge; this friutloop doesnt know what he wants in life is it brooke is it taylor or is it the next high??? he has no respect for woman esp the women who happen to be the mothers of his children. he is one of the lowest forms of life form on this show. he treats women like they are flavor of the month. he is self asorbed it seems to be for the most part always about "him" an his needs.
Rick; oh boy this guy is one angry man who due to his so called cruel childhood blames everyone else for his issues an never seems to except responsibilty for his actions until its too late an his back is up against the wall. He blames ridge for his childhood when lets get real his daddy was eric he should have been there more but he was too busy looking for the next piece of action an his mom was too busy trying to keep ahold of a friutloop of a man an some where along the way he got lost. does this excuse his actions no it does not. he is a grown man with the mentality of a spoiled young teenager who feels the world owes him.
Thorne; ok so he is really the only decent guy on the show. he has his middle child isssues esp with his brother but thats normal for the most part. thorne has had his battles an issues but his heart seems true an when he loves a woman he really seems to give all of himself. I.E. Macy, Darla these were true love stories an he played them so very well i dont know of anyone who has watch this show who was not in tears when these women passed on an to watch thornes grief it broke your heart an showed his true nature.
Thomas; he is just a hot mess i have no idea if this guy is going to just go postal one day or what. so young an yet again so many issues he cant seem to deal with or get the right help with. very sad
Nick; so whats that expression about a salior having a women in every port?? well his port must be centered in good old Calif. just when we think he is the good guy he lets his hormones lead the way an breaks poor bridgets heart every single time. he may be romantic an a great singer sure he could sing the pants off most women with that smooth voice but his moral fiber is again not making an apperance all that often. and his mommy complex is a bit unnerving in some aspects also.
Owen;he wants love but wants it as long as it comes with alot of bling otherwise well i have to wonder about his moral code. is he true an upfront or just a con man trying to land the next big score? i really dont know how i feel about him yet i find myself tossing an turning on this subject. i hope it turns out to be love an not about the almighty buck!
Clarke; sensitive is what comes to mind he can pull a good con if he wants to but for the most part has always been loyal esp to sally in the old days ya he jumpped ship to fc in the past but he always went back. he is funny to watch an wish he had some more air time an a love intrest.
Bill Jr; oh so new to the s/l but by far the most interesting. he is a dirty dog no doubt but he is hysterical to watch as he banters with the best of them. he by far is the best new character the B&B writters have added to this soap in many years and bravo to them for doing so. I cant wait to see how they develop his character an who will win his heart

Eric would have to be my least favourite of the characters on this show.IMO he is a pathetic patriach of this family he is not kind and loving he is too weak to take a stand against or defend any of his children he just expects them to get along in the name of family. Correct as a male role model he has failed he has been no example of fidelity or commitment bailing out when a realtionhip got too hard and always ready to chase someone in a skirt that had a pulse yet expecting his children to just accept his latest "love" he even bed's and wed's his own sons seconds.
Right now he is the stereotypical "older man"with the trophy wife on his arm and blue pills in the bedside table
Ridge He feeds his ego by having letting battle over him and for him. I can picture him on the Jerry Springer stage standing back while the two women fight over him in reality they should both grab a chair and beat him to a bloody pulp.

Rick poor little rich boy I agree a 13yr old in a man's body.It took two to tango .Where was kind loving Eric through your miserable childhood? spread the blame. He has also embraced the family tradition of sleeping with members of the same family.

Thomas the ugly reality of the two families interbreeding
have caused him to have a psychotic break and he feels he needs to break the cycle again spread the blame look to Grandpa Forrester who was the first to bed two members of the same family he set the standard in this rather nasty trend.

Nick Maybe he was at sea for too long if he doesn't think that sleeping with three members of the same family is intrisically wrong.Did he pick up the Forrester penchant just being around them?
