I just got a look at the HORRENDOUS ratings for B&B for June 8-12 and it is unacceptable. I have been watching this show consistently since 1994. I know it can be great again. I know we can get back to glamour and class, romance, good storylines and friday cliffhangers that have us wishing for Monday. Mr. Bell, dig into your roots, sharpen that pencil and let's make this show the show I KNOW that it can be!

2.2 is pretty poor, isn't it?

Yea, 2.2 is really not goood at all.

The ratings are a reflection of the ill thought out and oft repeated storylines. Todays women are more savvy and don't want to seeing women on tv depicted as one dimensional stereotypes or have their intelligence insulted by ludicrous story lines.
I am one of many who rarely bother to watch the show and just keep up via the updates TPTB really need to have storylines that make us want to watch this show and IMO have failed miserably for a long time in this regard.

Yes, the Donna and Pam stuff was refreshing. But I think we need a major overhaul of the storylines right now. We need Bill Spencer and Ridge fighting over women (which would make sense because Sr. didn't like Ridge). We need Whip Jones to come on and get Brooke in a different direction. We need Thorne and Felicia to do something else other than discuss sales reports.

It's jsut too much. How long are they going to continue with the whole Brooke/Ridge/Taylor story?! That's just way last decade.
Taylor is an idiot, for not getting through her idiotic brain that Ridge just is not in love with her. She's so pathetic, no wonder Steffy is throwng herself at a man who obviously doesn't love her. She learned it from mummy dear!

As for Stephanie, when is she going to realize that everytime she manipulates the situation, it only comes back to bit her and Taylor in the ass and NOT Brooke?
As for Brooke, what is she doing siding with Rick on the Steffy issue. I have never liked Ridge, but I am afraid that on the issue we have been hearing about for the past 6 months, he does have a point in not wanting Rick to be with Steffy.

I just hope something new happens, otherwise I will stop watching the show which has become extremely boring and predictable!

They tend to push the s/l's down our throats till we're sick of them. Rick and Steffy were on for what seemed like weeks, same with this Ridge/Brooke/Taylor thing. By the time you watch so much of something (unless it's your fave) you're sick of it. I'd think they would review programs from years past to see where their mistakes are and go from there.
