I'm sorry. I am leary of anything Rick does. On the one hand I am the biggest supporter of the idea that people can chage and become better. I'm not stupid though, major changes in attitude like that come after months or even years of trying to do better. A person doesn't just wake up usually (unless perhaps there has been some life altering event) and say. "Ok I have hated this person for years and done everything in the world I could to make their life miserable. But now I am going to play nice. It just doesn't happen that quickly or that easily. |

ICAM with what you said. Rick's hatred against his half-brother is decades old. He grew up with an ever-weeping, wailing and keening mother who was in 7th heaven when Ridge was with her and devastated when he was with another woman. Rick was always the one who had to console her. He had to take over the role as parent and had no childhood at all. But he didn't blame his mother for her weakness, no he started to hate Ridge. Somehow that reminds me of children who get co-dependant when one or even both of their parents have an addiction. And now all of a sudden, he goes to consoling and all the hatred is GONE?! GMAFB!!! That guye is much too slick, too smooth, too much like teflon. NOTHING sticks to him!! And I hate it espacially that he ALWAYS went for *girls* who thought that he is the biggest heroe ever born, who worship the ground he walks over and probably believe that he walks over water! apart from Taylor and Ashley he always went for naive girls, not real women!!!!! |

You're probably right! Afterall, Ridge hasn't changed in the 23 years he's been on! Rick doesn't stand a chance either! |

Hey have we forgotten something or someone? Amber |

He does seem genuine this time but I'm sure it is short lived. Something will snap with Rick and he'll be back to his all consuming hatred for Ridge. |

not a chance, he has gotten what he wants - Ridge left Brooke. But i am sure he is still in the game of wanting to hurt Ridge. Steffy and Brigette are on the same boat (Please Break My Heart) headed for rough waters. How many times do you go back to the man who broke your heart when you have a perfectly good man wanting to get with you (not to mention the man waiting looks way better then the man you are chasing, I mean Rick is no sore to the eye but compared to Marcus he dont stand a chance and Nick dont hold a candle next to Owen). |

If Rick's change of heart had come after months of counseling I might be a little more willing to give him a break. But it doesn't happen overnight and I stil think he has a hidden agenda. |
