Heres your sign Nick

Nick is really starting to tick me off. The whole time he was with Katie he kept demanding that his mother stay out of his personal life, and I agreed with him. But now that the shoe is on the other foot he is stompng around like some spolied child, making demand sa and prclaming that Jackie needs to end her relationship with Owen. Grow up Nick! |

Jackie is a big girl and she can make her own choices, just like you can. I don't believe Owen is out to take advantage of her, but if he is a mistake he is Jackie's mistake to make. Nick needs to just stop with all his irrational demands and worry about his own romantic life. He has screwed up a marrige to Bridgette twice already. If he wasnts to make a success of it this time he needs to start focusing his attention on his own buisness and leave his mother alone. |

As far as OWen's job, if he is doing a good job and has not done anything against Nick or the company why not let him keep his job. I would think that would be yet another sign. If he was to continue to work and make his own way that would take the wind out of Nick's sails in claiming he was just with JAckie for a meal ticket. |

If Owen really IS a money-grubber, he has done a DAMN BAD JOB until now. How did he profit, since coming to the Forresters/Marones? He got the money from Donna's son-peanuts, he exchanged some hot minutes with Donna while they thought that Eric was dying - no financial profit there, he refused Felicia's money to discriminate Donna, when he got fired at FC he went over to Jacky M, had a few hot hours with both Bridget and Jacky, was for some time blackmailed by the latter, then he admitted to Bridget that he really loved another woman and didn't pressure her to have sex with him. All he got until now from Jacky was a fancy title, perhaps a pay raise, an expensive car, maybe a gaudy watch..... SHOULD he be a money-digger, he can STILL milk Jacky, whether he signs a prenuptial or not. If Jacky is head over heels in love with him, all he has to do is mention by-the-by that he has seen a wonderful watch at a jewellery, a beautiful and sinfully expensive car at the car dealers... That's right. Nick acting so high and mighty is getting a little tough to watch. how many times has he made a fool of himself for live? He chased Brooke countless times only to have her wind up with Ridge. He threw his marrige to Bridgette away for a fleeting moment with Katie. Ok so they are back together now but that doesn't make him any less stupid. If OOwen is willing to sign a prenup Nick needs to just shut up. |

I may be wrong, but I really get the feeling that OWen does love Jackie. As you pointed out he turned down Felicia's offer because he felt it wa the wrong thing to do. He did not take advantage og Bridgette and he could have. But her feelings and his own feelings prevented him from doing that. Nick needs to just back off and give Owen and JAckie some room. Did you notice even after Jackie said he was staying at the company Nick, you does not have the autority to overide Jackie kept insisting that he was fired. |

I agree that Nick should back off and he made me mad also. Like Jackie says,"I deserve some happiness," and she does. Nick has not been so smart in the marriage department either. And he has no right to tell his mother what to do. Being married to Bridget before and cheating on her with Katy. He needs to concentrate on his own marriage. Jackie should get a prenup together and have Owen sign it, forget about it and hopefully Nick should leave them alone. |

After the confrentation in his office he came back and started on OWen again. I think Jackie should have let him go when she told him if he couldn't accept Owen working there he could go. I can understand a son being protective of his mother. But the fact is people have to take chances in life, and yes sometimes they do end up getting hurt. But Nick is acting like a pompous a$$ and he needsd to back off and let his mother live her own life. |
