This is confusing - why do people keep referring to baby Jack as being Taylor's son. He is not her son. She was simply his foster mother for a while. |

She was in the process of adopting him and discovered that she had no real love for the baby, so she returned Jack to the people she was trying to adopt him from.  |

Well, someone needs to explain to me why a woman who could not conceive naturally and who went through so much trouble to have this child and who carried the child for nine long months, just gave away her child so easily without a fight? I could certainly excuse her actions if the pregnancy was an accident but since is was obviously a planned pregnancy, how could Taylor have walked out of baby Jack's life the way she did. Most "normal" mothers go to battle for their children. It is usually a gut wrenching decision for a mother to give up her child. Taylor did it so easily. Very disturbing if I might say so.

I really can't see this storyline happening becsuse she would become the biggest hypocrite in the history of soaps. She can't bond with a baby she gave birth to with Nick, but she can bond with a baby she gave birth to with Ridge! It would make her out to be some sort of supremacist! |

To me she did fight after she divorce Nick when she was moving on with Rick [but haven't sleep together] but it was for nothing. She didn't like Brooke interfere which I totally agree but call it what you want it is abandoning her child because she gave birth not Brooke. |

I don't think they should go that way, but then again I don't get to make these desicions Ashley did NOT have a hysterectomy, she was told just like PHYLLIS was that she could no longer have children and both ladies became pregnant. Phyllis had her child and Ashley sadly miscarried. The woman who had a hysterectomy was Olivia, years ago. |

So what it boils down to is that one woman is just as capable as the other woman of using her children to get Ridge! Ridge follwed Taylor to St. Thomas because he thought Brooke was the love of his dad's life and stepped aside for him. He followed Taylor to St. Thomas who had fallen in live with him while treating Caroline, and didn't want him to be with Brooke. He had an engagement ring at the bottom of a champaigne glass, and that is how they got together when he told her to look at what was in it. She was not pregnant. |
