If Ridge would just take a breath and say to Rick "OK go ahead and date my daughter, but if you hurt her we will have a problem." Then if Ridge stays away from Brooke and Rick and Steffy's relationship fizzeles he will have his proff that Rick was just using Steffy. I think Rick is still using Stedy to drive a wedge between Brooke and Ridge. HE says he has changed, but even with intesive therapy one does not make that big a change that quickly. |

I think Rick wants BOTH: Steffy AND no Bridge!! Why should he break off with Steffy, when he has succeeded in breaking apart Ridge and his mom? He will NEVER AGAIN find such a young and naive girl, who thinks that he is prince charming and even worships the ground he is walking over. That is something he was ALWAYS looking for with his girlfrinds. |

I agree, I think Rick wants both. He wants an end to Bridge and he also wants to be able to get a "girl", notice I didn't say woman, that he can manipulate anytime he wants and still stick it to Ridge. This guy has no good qualities and there is always a motivation for himself in what he does. I personally think that Ridge, Thomas and Taylor should let her do as she wishes but say we don't like Rick so you are always a part of our family, but we will never accept a family relationship with Rick. After she finds out that she can be with Rick but Rick will never be part of the family, I think she will finally realize what is important and how much does she really want to give up for this jerk. Someone really needs to talk to her about what Phoebe felt about Rick before the car accident. Rick needs to be cornered on this. Phoebe knew he was using everyone in her family to get back at her dad and this has not been explored enough. |

Sounds like a good idea, but I'm curious as to why Ridge would have to stay away from Brooke? If Ridge lets Steffy find out on her own what Rick is up to, then she will learn! Ridge maintains Rick is out to kill Steffy, and that is a fool's behavior! |

Once he manages to break Ridge and his mother up I will be willing to bet he won't be so in love with Steffy anymore. |

She could tell here exactly what a jerk she thinks Rick is. Phoobe may well be the only one Steffy will listen to. |

Aside from all the blame Stephanie and Ridge heap on Rick for Phoebe's death I do not think he is resposible, not directly anway. An argument can be made that if he had not gotten involved with Taylor and turned Phoebe down when she came back there never would have been an argument or an accident on the way to Ridge and Brooke's engagement party. But as much as I dislike Rick I can not honestly say he is to blame for Phoebe's death. I think Rick wants to use Stefy to gt back at Ridge. HE may even be twisted enough to want to make Taylor suffer a little but I don't think he would stoop to cold blooded murder. |

I don't think he intentionally would kill anyone, but provoked I think Rick would do just about anything. Thinking Grant here. Rick has never been a guy to hold his emtoions and temper when provoked. Don't underestimate what he would do if things don't go his way. He has always been a reactionary to achieve his goals. |

The writers are so off the wall lately, that I am waiting for Rick to be Ridge's son. Then Ricky would have slept with 2 sisters and a step-mom. Seems like the Foresters and Logans are trying to one up each other in the gene pool tally. But wouldn't surprise me with this s/l. There doesn't seem to be any other men and women to breed with except these two groups. Oh, maybe Bill. I'm betting he is related to Foresters somehow too. Every new character that is sexually active is related to these two groups somehow. |
