I'll sign in as Fan #3!!.

The test that was performed to determine maternity was an rh antigen test. It determines if you're say O positive, or O negative. It is not a DNA test. It can only eliminate, not prove, parentage. In this case, it eliminated the donor egg, leaving the other egg (which they assumed to be Brooke's)as the one used in the IVF procedure.

I would love to see Jack turn out to be Bridget's, but how would they pull that one off. If it turns out that Bridget had eggs at the hospital, wouldn't you think as the brilliant doctor that she is, she would have checked it out. After all, the eggs had B. Marone on them. Bridget was a B. Marone at one time. Wouldn't she figure it all out. I know I would have.

I would like to know what type of hospital/pathology lab stores biological specimens or matter under a surname.
I have worked as a clerk in a path lab all specimens were barcoded details entered into computer and also a paper file created with the same code.B4 the them items were tested/used 2 lab tech's would cross reference and confirm the details and confirmed again by the lab supervisor B4 the bio matter was used and or tested.
If the name Marone was mixed up imagine a Smith,Goldberg or Chan going in for IVF at that hospital who knows who's child they would end up with
Writers should research a little better tho it is only a soap and i guess not really meant to reflect real life.

I have no problems with Jack being Nick and Bridget's son. I don't think Brooke would mind either. She knows how much Bridget wants a baby and Jack would still be related to her. It is a win-win for everyone!!

I guess you mean one of Taylor's children... I agree, that would make for a more interesting s/l. B&B comes up with some dumb things sometimes. Aren't the writers of Y&R and B&B the same? Then, why does B&B have such stupid s/l's sometimes...???? Yeah, I would love to see that one or more of her kids belong(s) to someone else, and NOT Ridge. That would be a hoot!!!

ITA! I would love to see all of her children end up being not Ridge's. If not, at least one or both of the twins. That would make the Rick/Steffie s/l more tolerable.
