That was soo funny about Nick looking older than Jackie. It is also True. Boy is he ever aging!!!

I think she is so pretty, boots or not - she looks beautiful in everything she wears to me. I love her hair (or wigs, especially the color)

So right about Jackie. She can wear anything and look good in it. Old or not she looks good. Her hair is beautiful and so is the color. She really does not look old enough to be Nick's mother. His mother should be like in her mid seventies or a little older than that. I read somewhere that Jackie is about fifty-five and Nick is pretty close to fifty. This does not make a bit of sense. They are too close in age for mother and son.

Who the heck does 'Nicki' think he is? Entering his Mother's home unannounced and interrupting her entertaining her company is horribly rude and arrogant. She's his Mother no matter how old he is and he's not the model of propriety anyhow! It Jackie wants to make a mistake, let her make it, it's her life. Nicki needs to concentrate on Bridget and Jack and his own life right now.

Even though Nicki is acting a bit posessive (what son would not?) it isn't his life to lead. But I do like the scenes where he's getting grossed out thinking about his Mother being with Owen and the funny pictures he drew of Owen on the notepad Bridget found was funny because it seemed like something a little kid would do. I do like this storyline though and I hope they continue with it, at least for a while.

I too like this story line and Nick's reaction to his mother's relationship with Owen. It was a hoot when he said something like "why don't you take up knitting like other mother's do".

I do think that Jackie's getting serious about Owen has taken the punch out of the relationship, which began as pure fun for her.

I hope the writers don't continue too long with the "grossed out son" routine because it could get very old.

I just want to point out that Nick doesn't really respect women. If he respected women so much, he would not have been with Bridget's mother, as well as her aunt. And then he wouldn't have been telling Taylor how committed to her one minute, then making googly eyes and playing tonsel hockey with Brooke on his boat the next.
I agree with whoever said he needs to take a long walk off a short peer....what a waste of airtime.
