I know he is concerned about his mother, I get that. But he has always told his mother to stay out of his romantic affairs and I have agreed with him. He is a grown man after all. Now it is time for him to practice what he preches and to leave his mother alone and let her live her life. Right now she is happy and having a good time. OWen may be using her, or he may have genuine feelings for her But Jackie is a big girl and she has a right to live her own life. As of this moment Owne has given no signels that he is going to do anything at all to hurt Jackie. So I say Nick needs to let his mother live her life and have a little fun. |

I have to agree with you on this one. What I am surprised at though, is the complete turnaround this story line has taken. When Owen and Jackie started out, she was the aggressor, the predator - to the point of sexual harrassment as she based his job retention on his ability to be at her beck and call. Now, all of a sudden, she is the damsel in distress that her son feels he has to protect ?? Jackie seems very vulnerable while Owen is the predator. It all turned around so quickly. And, as an aside, I really wish Jackie would lose the go-go boots - they are sooooo 70's for such a mover and shaker in the 2000's |

What's wrong with Jackie having a little fun? Neither of them are married, so what's the harm? She has a right to live her own life. It's good that Nick is concerned for his mother, but she is a grown up and he has to let her live her life. |

I think you are so right.When you think about how Bridgette and Owen were trying to have sex neither of them could really get motivated to do it,and Owen admitted that he was like Bridgette he had feelings for someone else and maybe the he couldn't get aroused for that fact.It does happen with men.I say Jackie have a great time and life with Owen as long as it last.Heck maybe they will be the next B&B couple of the years end.Whoooooopi you go girl and you to Owen.Nick go to Bridgette and get your relationship on a even keel. |

ITA Nick needs to give it up and leave his mother alone. If being with Owen makes her happy, then she should go for it. /And if her happiness doesn't last with Owen, that's ok too. Doesn't Nick remember how much he resented his Mommy interfering in his love life??? Something about being a grown man, able to make his own decisions about who he should be with.....regardless of what Mommy thought. |

Hmmmm, well Nick MIGHT have told his mother to stay out of his buisiness but in the end, he did what she wanted him to do: He left Katie (or rather he WANTED to leave her, she had enough self-respect to leave on her own) and went back to Bridget. |
appeared NICK was in the center of his mother's universe. Now he has to share the spotlight of Jackie's attention with Owen.

Yet the thing is Jackie did know that Nick really loves Bridgette and that she raised him pretty good.Have we not noticed that Nick has almost always respected woman and I think that is the best thing a mother can do for a son.Respecting a woman is a big plus in our world!!!Thumbs up for this respect of Nicks to woman. |

Nick is old enough to be Bridget's father. Jackie is old enough to be Owen's grandmother! Jackie has to be as old as Stephanie and the mini skirts are looking ridiculous! Nick actually looks older than Jackie! I think mabe these characters need to be re-arranged to age appropriate characters. This s/l is makeing me sick. |
