BIOGRAPHY
Although Patrick's desire to become a professional athlete in his teens, his involvement in his high school's drama department is what really pushed him to apply and become one of 12 people accepted to the Professional Actors Training Program at the University of Washington in Seattle.
After moving to New York, Patrick appeared in Off-Broadway plays and supported his wife working as a carpenter. It wasn't until they moved to Hollywood when he began to land roles in both television and film.
His wife, Carlyn, first introduced Patrick to Buddhism, which he has practiced for 30 years. Living in Los Angeles, Patrick and his wife also own a home in southern Oregon.
