Let me make a point (I'm really not tryin to start anything) but lets say one of your loved ones/family got hurt real bad. You don't know if they will make it. Who do you turn to first? hmmm God. No matter if you believe or not. Funny how that works isn't it? You say you have lots of questions that don't ever get answered. No one has the awswers you are look for. What makes you so special that only YOU can have all the awswers? You gotta believe. He's coming soon. But it's ever to late. You should have an open mind about this is all.

Dolphin, thanks for your kind words. Haven't really talked with you in forever! I do respect that others have their beliefs. And I am not talking here in direct reference to you, so please don't take it that way. We all have stated why we are where we are. There are certain issues that happened to all of us who post here....we looked and researched other religions....it is not like we all just woke up one day and said "screw it"....

But somepeople just are not going to get it. And that is what is truely sad.

This is the exact same thing that I was talking about earlier. You say that there is only one lord, the baby jesus....other religions don't believe that. You say what makes us so special that we want answers...my response is what makes you so insecure that you don't? You say that if one of our loved ones was ill we would turn to god...I say that is a biased opinion. You should perhaps read what we have written. You say that we should open our hearts or something equivilant....but then you shut yours when it comes to acceptance of other beliefs.

And Amanda...You really didn't have anything of import to add....so I really don't know how to respond to you.

The fact remains that there are several threads and several believers on this board that I have no problem with....they don't come into threads and argue their christianity....Dcorn and Chy probably don't agree with anything I say LOL but they don't come where clearly they would create upset. I believe they do that out of respect, which you two clearly lack. Just as I do not go into their prayer, shepherd threads and disrespect their beliefs.

So to you two, I say practice what you preach. Stay to your own threads...this isn't a conversion thread. So, perhaps you could create one?
