Jack is so tough...nothing is going to stop him...guess we see where Kim comes into play. The episode was good..not great and I don't understand why the weasel wasn't taken into custody. He admitted there were weapons on the base..I can see why the FBI left but don't understand why the weasel was left behind. |

I just saw Monday's episode. It was great! I'll watch Tony anytime! Jack is stubborn sometimes! Jon Voight plays a great crazy guy! I guess Starkwood is fashioned after Blackwater, but I can't believe those guys would stand up to the FBI the way they did! They've got some nerve! They didn't have the previews for next week online, though! How disappointing! |

Felt sorry for the guy who was thrown over the balcony...I hope he is not dead I really don't like Olivia, however, the way she played that reporter was classic...made me chuckle. I thought she might have something to do with Starkwood but maybe not...24 always keeps me guessing. I agree with you! I told my bf - normally I think Olivia is a witch but I actually liked her there. And I definitely didn't want that guy to die - that was thrown off the balcony! And I am sooooo not looking forward to Kim - we are doing good without whiny women on the show. I hope Kim gives Renee attitude and she puts her in her place. Chloe always use to do that so well! Loooove seeing tony! |

They didn't have the previews for next week online, though! How disappointing! Yeah I am not crazy about the fact that Starkwood (an obvious Blackwater type outfit) is going to be the bad guy this season, at least it seems so at this point. Obviously Jonas Hodges has lost it & those on the inside who stand up to him die (I hated that that guy got thrown off the balcony, but I knew he was dead when he agreed to help Tony). John Voight is doing a fantastic job as Hodges. I still think Cherry Jones is great as the pres, however President Taylor is really showing some weakness...first appointing her daughter as interim Chief of Staff & then taking that private call from Hodges & calling off the air strike. I knew something would stop the air strike (b/c no way would they disable those weapons so quickly) but I hated to see the pres. back down. I agree that Olivia turning the tables on that reporter was great, however I still don't like her. Assuming they bring Kim in, which it seems they will to help Jack, I also can't wait to see her interact with Rene. I want some more Jack & Rene interaction as well |

I don't like the FBI backing down & leaving him there. Jack would have hauled him off! I have many questions about Olivia too - she's a biotch, but is she dirty? I'm hoping she's just power hungry & not in cahoots with Starkwood. I read Rene, Jack, & the pres. are all slated to return next season - don't know about Olivia. |

I couldn't possibly dumb it down enough to watch this show!!! I guess it's pretty much a Faux news crowd show anyway, so that's pretty telling. Oh BTW...Bush adimistration is over...so the doctrine that this shitz show goes by is redundant!!! |

Thanks for the chuckle Leave it to and Obot to blame Bush for a fictional TV show...how lame can you get! I don't know what exactly fueled the creators of this show. Perhaps the rash of reality shows (that are as scripted as 24) and the lack of any original programing on television factored into the creation of 24. I don't think George W. Bush or any of his policies had much to do with 24. I imagine 24 was in the works even before the 2000 election. I know the first season was edited to remove images of planes hitting buildings b/c after the original script was written, the attacks of 9/11/2001 occurred. Certainly terrorist activity (which has been a reality not only for the U.S. but for most of the civilized world for years) prompted the creation of 24. The U.S. has dealt with terrorists, & argued over how exactly to treat them, since at least the 1970's. I know people of all political leanings who watch 24 & I know people who pay zero attention to politics, but simply love a great, suspenseful drama. |
