I wish I good send you some heat Steph. I also wish all of you could send us some rain in Florida. We are in a severe two year drought in Florida. Severe watering restrictions of lawns and burning bans. Everyone thinks of Florida as a lush tropical playground. Right now our brown grass will crunch under your shoes. It is so sad and depressing to what our lakes literally drying up. |

Quote pipposprincess: good evening ladies a beautiful day in ny today. of course, its going back under freezing tonite, but today was gorgeous. eating leftovers tonite so i dont have to cook, i only have to reheat. we dont have tulips yet, but the crocuses have popped up in my backyard. Hey Pipps! Crocuses are pretty too! We have had torrents of rain....the first of many that we will have for spring....it was quite cruel to my beautiful iris that were beginning to bloom....either the wind or the rain or both has frayed them terribly... Tuffy- wished I had some way of sending you some of this rain.....I got bogged down to my hubcaps today going out in the woods! |

I believe I see some roses, too, of all colors! They smeel absolutely divine! Lily of the Valleys and Gardenias, too. |

Yes we have hubcaps in the South and they are ours!  I don't think you want our weather.....It is loaded with windy tornados, They didn't hit us though....we are just wet. My In-Laws are okay, just checked on them. They had a big tornado in their town and not too far where they live....there were 60 homes destroyed no known death!We get another wave of this again tonight. The weather has been pretty cooperative, light rain in the day and heavy at night. Take Care! |

Another sunny and windy day in Florida, with no rain in sight. I think we are eating out tonite; will inform hubby when he gets home. Since a lot of you don't know me....I am not a cook. Now rynomom and pippoprincess are excellent cooks and are always trying new recipes. You ladies who home school your children are to be applauded. A lot of hard work. My daughter is in the 15 year of teaching senior english. |
