Hello Ladies! Finally got a minute to doign some catching up.

Ryno - how is school going for Ryne. It seems so early to start. Most of our schools start after Labor day.

Dakota - enjoy your vacation and I'm sure Dakota will be excited as ever to see you when you get back.

Patty - Congrats to Kyle. Almost done. I will keep my fingers crossed that he can find work. My thougts and prayers are with you and your dad.

Pipps - hope your feeling better. Doesn't sound like a pleasant time. That's great that you are meeting up with Linda in Florida. I still think a huge 'family' renion is in order sometime.

Hello everyone!

Just made some blueberry muffins(with walnuts, yum!) Wish I could invite you all to come over for some tea and muffins.

Kyle is due home any minute. He was swimming time trials for the swim team.

My hours have been cut at work again. Work 40-47 hours for 3 weeks and then 8-25 hours the next 3 weeks. Can't seem to catch up with bills this way.

dcorn....good for you (home schooling). Not easy to do but definitely worth it if you can. I home schooled Kyle 4th and 5th and then all of middle school. Believe me, if you can homeschool during middle school......it makes a big difference in behavior. Very difficult time for teenagers. Easy for them to get distracted. We did without many luxuries while homeschooling....but, again, it was worth it. Of course, my brain was fried teaching algebra!

Dad is slowly failing, very hard for Mom. Will try to get back down there tomorrow.

Hello everyone!

I'm sitting here on the veranda, again sipping a lemon drop martini. It is hot and humid. Very bright outside, hurts my eyes. There was a breeze this morning....not now. Rocking in the rocking chair, waiting for someone to visit.

Had a migraine Friday and Saturday. Much better now.

How is everything in your "corner of the sky"? Hope you all had a safe and fun weekend.

Have the little ones started school yet? Kyle started 2 weeks ago. Other counties here start Monday. There sure is a lot to pay for when they become seniors! With God's help I will be able to provide what is needed.

Dad has turned the corner. I don't think it will be much longer. Mom is so worn out. Will go down there this week. Don't know if he will recognize me. That's okay.

DCorn, The Prince is doing well in school, he has a very nice teacher...I met with her today and she seems to be just what he needs....of course we are still in the honeymoon phase! HA But Actually the Prince loves school, I hope that he will continue to love learning.....
Patty....so sorry to hear about your father. It is so hard to watch the ones you love slip away...on one hand your heart selfishly wants to keep them with you forever and then your mind tells you that it is better to let them go....I will continue to pray for you and as my pal gypsy momma would say...I will light a candle for you!

Hey Pipps....how are you doing? Tuffy said that you have been doing some heavy duty baby sitting! Hope all is well with you and Bill (the Hurricane) doesn't come to see ya'll......those things are rough.....

Just wanted everyone to know that my dad passed this morning, I was on my way down to see him. Mom called and told me. It's okay. He is at peace now. In a better place. God's loving arms.
