Sassy, I can't stand grits. I think I ate to many of them when I was a lil girl..lol..now my hubby loves them. But the kids and I turn turn our nose up at them..lol..

My whole family is southern, so it is a staple! My husband has always been a Hoosier and he did not even know what they were, he thinks they are gross!

We are on spring break this week. That makes my job boring, since I work so closely with the schools. So I am pretty much twittling my thumbs and posting!

My husband and I were talking about renting a houseboat on Dale Hollow w/some family members. I don't know how that will work out though.... I will probably throw them all overboard!

Well, I took today off to have just a day to myself. I go back to work tomorrow and go into a 6 day week but thankfully I work here from home, so it's not as bad as it could be.

I'm missing the kids today....even though I haven't had to break up WWIII. They are at the ages where my daughter loves to scream~He's looking at me, he just breathed on me....and my son well he's at the age where he's constantly thinking of what he can do to make his sister either scream or cry..... But it's quiet here today..lol..

Dale Hollow Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes I've seen. You should rent a house boat Sassy, it's lots of a fun but I know exactly what you are talking about. We use to own a house boat, and it was on Dale Hollow. Well as soon as we bought it, you can forget about me having a relaxing getaway~~everybody and their brother came out of the woodwork to go to the lake with us. I finally had had enough, now don't get me wrong I love spending time with family, but come on....there is only so much cooking and cleaning up I can do. I finally told hubby sell this sucker!..lol..From now on when I take a vaca it'll be a real vaca...

My daughter is a huge Twilight fan..and I just wasn't into all that. She talked me into taking her to Wal-Mart Friday night for the midnight DVD release party, I'm a sucker...but anyways we watched the movie Saturday night at the cabin~~and I just gotta say that Edward Cullen there is something sexy about that vampire!..lol..I can't believe I SO loved that movie

My 4 year old is going on 14! She told me and my husband yesterday (after she got into some trouble)......

My husband and I looked at each other, did we just get kicked out of our house?? She is sooooooo dramatic! (I wonder where she gets it? I think from her dad!) She is growing up to fast!!

Yeah, I wasn't into it either...until I watched it. It is GOOD!!

What I find interesting is Ann Rice does not write vampire stories anymore. She is a born again christian who's faith has led her writing more spiritual based books. And Stephenie Meyer is very religious and just starting writing vampire books....I read that somewhere!
