Be back in a few...got to get my fix of American Idol!  yes it does I'm just old school Search for tom, Another world, Edge of Night my oldest is named Raven as I stated My grandmother would listen on the radio then when it came on TV it was a rap. I miss the good old days of GL but i cannot turn away I feel it is the last connection to my Granny{god bless the dead}so i will labor on see you guys after the show. Just got in from work I have 40mins here in NY before GL comes on. Old school here, too! No one I know even remembers the edge of night! Most of my family have passed and we have relocated so much that my friends are far and few between. So it's nice to make a connection with someone who remembers the good ole' days of cbs soaps. Do you remember Michael Norri in the secret storm? I was just a kid but man did I love that guy! Wasn't his name Steve on the show? |

:) Hey, Sassy! Sorry I haven't been on sooner, moving slow today. My daughter is getting married May 2nd! She just called and said mama did you forget we are suppose to go and look at that reception hall today? Guess what! I forgot! Not even dressed yet! Yikes! Won't be back on until later,,,give a holler out maybe you can get some more people in the lounge. Seems like some of them want to talk today! No GL...stupid basketball...Big Al's at it again! |

Hellooooo, I'm back! Looks like a slow day on the boards. My daughter and I found a reception hall that's available on the 2nd , problem now is the money. They will cater the whole shebang, just coming up with a price we can afford! Maybe I can hit Bid Al up for a loan! Found my 2 granddaughters their flower girls dresses, and my 4 yr old grandson a suit for ring bearer! Got it all at walmart because of Easter being so soon. Thank God for small miracles! I thought Bridezillas was just a show, but believe me my daughter is turning into one! Great day! Oh, I found a dress for ME, too! So my end of the wardrobe problem solving is over! My husband can worry about him and my son...I'm through with the clothes part of it! |

My son had mono when he was 13. He was sick for 6 wks! I was so glad when he got better, believe me! Forgot you are from Indiana until I read the posts from today! I was born and raised in Anderson, in. You know where that is? I live about 30 miles east of Muncie in a small town called Winchester - home of the sugar cream pie!! I am very familliar with Anderson! My daughter is much better today. But she gave it to my husband, who is even a bigger baby!! My brother-in-law in San Diego is geting married next summer and that is going to be a pain, so I feel for you. Posts have been slow, I think my "hot" thread has finally cooled. If I don't get back online have a good night, I'll catch you in the morning. |

Poor little fella! Talk tomorrow. Good-night! It's stock. Muncie has the drag. My dad actually managed the track for a few years, so I am very familiar with it. (although I hate racing). I am not into the Hoosiers' sports. Not for me. Just Football. I love football. I thought it was ridiculous to be nasty when someone is practically arguing your point, but to each it's own!! Sorry about your grandson, my daughter felt better yesterday, but that must have been the calm before the storm. She is horrible today! She is aching and has a low grade fever, The flu is hitting this area hard, so I guess it is to be expected! |

He's playing golf after work today and then getting up about 4 in the morning to go fishing...for an oldtimer (59) he sure keeps the roads hot!! I've gotta be at work at 3 in the morning to open up the local store and cook! Yea, we live in a SMALL town of about 700. Only work one day a week, mostly to help the manager out (what idiot wants to get up at 2 on a Saturday morning...me me me!) but I've known her for years and don't mind helping her out. Living in a small town is like LIVING in soapland!  The flu has a way of coming back to bite you on the rump! Hang tuff! Soap boards are slow today, maybe they'll heat up after while. Waiting on the Trivia Question for the day, enjoy that! My town is small (pop 15,000). But it is not to bad. I am actually in the office today until about 3 and then I will be home. I hope the boards pick up. The Otalia threads are starting to look good  ! I think the question of the day is fun too. I hope my fam feels better soon, we are going shopping tomorrow, and I need my fix!!!!
