Mine is Girls Raised in The South & 1976 is the year I was born. I have only been up north 2 times in my life and each time it made me proud of my Southern accent & heritage. Though, I know that there are some scars on the history of my region but I am proud to be descended from such a preservering people.

I think mine is mommie with a g-when my first granddaughter began to talk she penned that name on me...I think because M was for mommie and I was grandma, but she was with me so much that she decided that if mommie was mommie with an M then grandma must be gommie with a G and not grandma......

Even as a little girl I loved to shop, so my Mom used to refer to me as her "shoppingirl" -- so that is why I chose Shopgirl for my screen name!!

Well it is because I have such a strong New York Accent...now that I live in Florida, it really sticks out. But I had this name way before I moved there.

Nope -- I'm an aide in a kindergarten (a.m.) to 26 adorable 5 & 6 year olds.

Yes, I love my job. I am already dreading June when this class will "graduate" and I will lose them to first grade. They are an inquisitive, special group of kids, full of all the possibilities of life.

reminds me of how my brother name his dog..he named him 'me too' b/c the dog wanted to share everything-consequently he became 'me too' *g*
