Fox News owns this sign

Center for American Progress' Matthew Yglesias brings us these images, originally taken by his colleague Lee Fang at this afternoon's anti-health care rally on Capitol Hill:

mediamatters.org/blog/200911050036

There is no reasonable argument, no reasonable position, no reasonable ANYTHING, no explanation that will ever be acceptable...from any wingnut, teabagger, and anyone who hates healthcare reform that much---how in all that is holy can anyone or a group of people find humor in a picture of dead Jewish people in a mass grave---how can anyone that calls himself a human, make a sign like that and not be bothered by that?

I stand firm in my position and belief that anyone from these groups who speaks about anything is a disgusting piece of sh!t, with no moral compass!

Here is the beloved constituency that the Republican party represents--let's take a gander at yesterday's lunatic fringe march:

Many of the demonstrators chanted "Weasel Queen," their pet name for the speaker of the House. Others wore masks of Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.); they were covered in fake blood and carrying dolls representing aborted fetuses, as the Grim Reaper led them in chains to hell.

In the front of the protest, a sign showed President Obama in white coat, his face painted to look like the Joker. The sign, visible to the lawmakers as they looked into the cameras, carried a plea to "Stop Obamunism." A few steps farther was the guy holding a sign announcing "Obama takes his orders from the Rothchilds" [sic], accusing Obama of being part of a Jewish plot to introduce the antichrist.

But the best of Bachmann's recruits were a few rows into the crowd, holding aloft a pair of 5-by-8-foot banners proclaiming "National Socialist Healthcare, Dachau, Germany, 1945." Both banners showed close-up photographs of Holocaust victims, many of them children.

Immediately in front of this colorful scenery, various House Republicans signed autographs and shook hands with the demonstrators. Rep. Virginia Foxx (N.C.), who recently said the health-care bill is more dangerous than terrorists, gave out stickers saying "Govt Run Healthcare Makes Me Sick!"

"Who knew a casual comment on TV could generate this?" Rep. Jeb Hensarling (Tex.) exulted as he stood in front of the Dachau banner.

Now, objecting to the health-care bill is one thing. But doesn't it send the wrong message for House Republicans to hold an event on the Capitol grounds full of hateful and gruesome words and images?

It really puzzles me about the 'right-wingers' Nazi accusations and references toward the democrates and then again, in the next breath, charge liberalism. This is a total dichotomy right there. Who is it the neo nazis, and 'down with anything government' skin heads most closely aligned with - certainly not the liberals. No one in their right minds would confuse Nazism with 'liberal'. Seems to me, big government became a lot bigger after Busy/Cheney took office, so if they want to complain about personal infringements, go look at Bushy. The only thing Bush didn't want to touch, big government-wise was shoo the regulators onto Wall-Street and Madison Avenue and make them do their job - oversee hanky-panky among his business associates.

Did anyone see the president's press conference this morning?

He announced the approval of the bill passed by the House and Congress gave final approval for an additional $24 billion to help the jobless and support the housing market.

The bill also extends unemployment insurance benefits that were due to expire and renews an $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers, while also expanding it to cover many other home purchases.

I wonder what "negatives" the ELEPHANTS are going to find in this?

You know...after seeing the 'leaders' of the Repub party standing in agreement with those psychotic and immoral teabagger wingnuts yesterday--I really think the whole lot of them are complete scum. There is no point of return from what they did yesterday...it was beyond disgusting!

haaaaa...

TRUCE!

Sorry, I don't watch 'The View,' and even if I could I wouldn't choose too---I can barely stand Barbara WaWa on her own, and Hasselbeck is a crazy pill that I cannot swallow. It's like watching a robot speak which has been downloaded with 'love everything Republican even the bad stuff.'

I often wondered why that ugly tiger looked so deformed - - he is actually swimming under water?

You know, I really only watch the view because I really like Whoppi - - but I love to watch Joy Behar (very, very strong Democrat) shut Hasselbeck's big flopping mouth - - always, always, against the president. That's why I love Joy's new show on HLN! She is a riot and very knowledgeable. Great show - - watch it if you get a chance.

I never looked very close at that avi! I thought it was a groundhog. Guess I better get the new glasses sooner rather than later!!

Hey Cats, thanks for dropping in!

I'm still aghast at how anyone would think making huge banners with a picture of dead Holocaust victims in a mass grave has anything to do with healthcare reform. It's so disgusting and sick!

That has absolutely nothing to do with politics, that is just plain evil and I challenge ANYONE who would think there is a credible argument in using a photo like that in such a despicable manner!

It's revolting!

Hey guys - - we are going to play a game tonight, okay?

I just read a blog regarding the Orlando guy, Jason Rodriguez, who shot 6 people and kiled 1 person in Orlando, and was a disgruntled employee that was fired from his job 5 years ago and harbored deep resentment.

Now, here is the game. Because this has to do with "unemployment", guess who is being blamed for this?
Three guesses, the first two don't count!

Have at it!

You know...after seeing that Holocaust picture and the other things that have come out, I think the lunatic fringe are just plain evil. Of course they will blame anything on Obama---they have no moral compass, are cold and dead inside, and have no soul. B@st@ards!

Tom Tancredo stormed off the set of the Ed Show when he was debating health care with Markos Moulitsas. Poor baby.

It all started when Tancredo started trash-talking the Veterans Administration, at which point Markos brought up his chickenhawk past. He got angry and tried the standard conservative whine, realized he was better quitting while he was behind, and then stormed off. The truth hurts, right Tom?

As a Republican student activist, Tancredo spoke out in favor of the Vietnam War. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in June 1969, he became eligible to serve in Vietnam. Tancredo said he went for his physical, telling doctors he'd been treated for depression, and eventually got a "1-Y" deferment.

Too many of these cowards discuss our troops when they themselves refused to serve when they had the chance. Here's Jed Lewison:

A few minutes ago on The Ed Show, Tom Tancredo tried to make the case against government health care by claiming that the Veterans Administration is unpopular with U.S. military veterans. The only problem for him was that he was up against Markos...who is one of those veterans, unlike Tancredo, a pro-Vietnam War chickenhawk who got a 1-Y deferment.

When Markos pointed out that Tancredo was (a) wrong about the Veterans Administration and (b) not qualified to speak for veterans, Tancredo exploded in anger, demanding an apology. Markos did not oblige, and Tancredo stormed off the set.

Funny, too, how the most thin-skinned of the wingnuts are the same people most prone to making vicious, uncivil, frequently racist and xenophobic remarks. Tancredo, after all, is a guy who claimed the National Council of La Raza was just like the Ku Klux Klan, and called Sonia Sotomayor a racist, and told the people of Brownsville, Texas, that they should build the border fence on the northern side of their city.

And then goes whimpering and whining off the stage when he gets a clean shot to the gut with hard facts. There's a street name for that, but this is a family blog.
