President Obama is one of the most, if not the most, classiest and patriotic presidents I have ever seen...this man has so much integrity for the Oval Office and our fallen troops.

Though I served in the Marine Corps during the Clinton years, and did so proudly, I know that I would be BEAMING with pride if I were still in the military now, serving Obama as president.

He flew to Dover AFB to honor the recently fallen from Afghanistan...and saluted each casket. Go to the article to see the photo:

Standing in the pre-dawn darkness, President Barack Obama saw the real cost of the war in Afghanistan: The Americans who return in flag-covered cases while much of the nation sleeps in peace.

In a midnight dash to this Delaware base, where U.S. forces killed overseas come home, Obama honored the return of 18 fallen Americans Thursday. All were killed in Afghanistan this week, a brutal stretch that turned October into the most deadly month for U.S. troops since the war began.

The dramatic image of a president on the tarmac was a portrait not witnessed in years. Former President George W. Bush spent lots of time with grieving military families but never went to Dover to meet the remains coming off the cargo plane. Obama did so with the weight of knowing he may soon send more troops off to war.

“Al-Qaeda has had safe haven in Pakistan since 2002,” Clinton told a group of editors in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore. “I find it hard to believe that nobody in your government knows where they are and couldn’t get them if they really wanted to. Maybe that’s the case; maybe they’re not gettable. I don’t know.”

Nancy Pelosi and the House have finalized their healthcare bill proposal, and the CBO has estimated the cost at ~$870B.

Reid's bill has also been price tagged by the CBO last week at ~$829B.

So...now both bills will soon be hitting their respective floors in the House and Senate probably within the next week.

Assuming both measures are approved, the House and Senate will form a conference committee to combine the two bills for one final vote in their respective chambers. Then it's on to the White House for President Obama's signature.

This might all happen before year's end people!

Hmmm...I wonder if the combined and final bill will cost ~$850B, will include the public option with the state opt out, would take effect before 2014, but the new bill will take effect in Jan 2011, and States will have until the end of 2010 to decide if they want to opt out. This might all be timed around the 2010 elections...hmmmm...so much support from the general public on this bill, I wonder how things are going to pan out at the polls.

It's quite evident that not many of us will be joining the "Rush the Ignorant Windbag" fan club anytime soon!
