By the way, I am still trying to find the website you mentioned regarding honoring those who have died from lack of healthcare. Can you help, please?

Here's the website:

namesofthedead.com/

They all died before they should have. Many where children. Private insurance companies have blood on their hands for this. Even the ones who had insurance where denied coverage for any little reason they could think of. Insurance is nothing but a big money racket where associates are given huge bonuses for every claim they can get out of paying. Ridiculous that they are allowed to cause the death of so many but never be held accountable for one single thing. No regulations on them.....nope not them.

Right-wing media claim Obama is criticizing Fox for "tough questions" and "reporting the truth"

Several right-wing media figures have claimed that the Obama administration is criticizing Fox News because the network asks "tough questions" and is "reporting the truth." This assertion is undermined by Fox News' extensive history of advancing falsehoods, repeatedly passing off GOP materials as news, doctoring quotes, and frequently engaging in outrageous attacks on President Obama, such as Glenn Beck's claim that he is a "racist" with a "deep-seated hatred for white people, or the white culture -- I don't know what it is."

mediamatters.org/research/200910240004

It's quite hilarious...they are the poster children of liars and nutjobs and they claim President Obama is lying to them AND afraid of their so-called "reporting the truth."

YEP--Yanno, they report the truth according to Satan--whom they model after and spend so much time and energy emulating, plotting, and fear mongering.

I read that link - - OMG, what next? Yanno - - President Obama is going to be in Jacksonville (FL) tomorrow. I am tempted to try to get to see him and yell out "HEY - -SOMEONE JUST SHOT BECK AND I KNOW IT WASN'T YOU, CUZ YOU ARE HERE!!!"

By the way, I wet my pants every time you use the word Yanno!!! I remember those posts! Yanno?

Hey guys---Yanno...LOL...I'm so happy to be chatting with such well informed and intelligent ladies such as yourselves. I'm grateful to have the chance to discuss healthcare reform in an atmosphere that doesn't spew the continuous lies of Fox News or lies simply leapt from the minds of people who choose to be obstinate and crazy.

Yanno - - I agree with you - - went to read on the Swine Flu thread and had to plow through posts a mile long about the president's lies! Oh well - - cutting and pasting is easy, eh?

The answer to that is simple - - then it would be our President's fault - - Yanno?

OMG, Puddy! You need a microphone a stool, and a stage at the local comedy club! You are on a roll today...you guys rock...YANNO!

*smooches*

WOW! You guys---this will rock your socks off too!

Hypocrites at their very best:

Rep. Weiner Identifies 55 Republicans On Medicare Who ‘Steadfastly Oppose’ The Public Option

Rep. Anthony Weiner’s (D-NY) office today released an internal study showing that 151 members of Congress “currently receive government-funded; government-administered single-payer health care — Medicare.” Of those 151 members, 55 are Republicans who also happen to be “steadfastly opposed [to] other Americans getting the public option, like the one they have chosen.” Included on Weiner’s list are anti-public option crusaders Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Sen. Orin Hatch (R-UT), Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL), Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), Sen. Mike Enzi (R-WY), Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), and Rep. Peter King (R-NY).

Take a good look at that list---if you can recall, some of them were shouting about DEATH PANELS and supporting the lunatic fringe during the wingnut hysteria a few months ago...WOW!

edited to say--To drive this further point--they are getting Medicare (govt run option), plus their Senator or Representative salary, plus the government healthcare system for politicians, PLUS the various monies from interest groups, their own wealth, and other dirty money sources.

But it's UNFAIR for everyday joes like us to have equal healthcare public options, but it's okay for them to have MORE THAN ONE GOVERNMENT OPTION at their disposal AND sitting on piles of money! HYPOCRITES AND THIEVES!!!

Knowledge is indeed power!

Hypocrits indeed!!! There has not been one single teabagging name calling Faux lying story that is not spread by a lot people who are sucking up all the government benefits they can get but are damn well set on not letting anyone else who needs them get them. If all the medidcaid accepting, welfare drawing, food stamp taking, unemployment benefit recieving people against reform by the government would just think about what they are doing. They are trying to get rid of the benefits they are currently receiving or at least stop anyone else from getting them. How can someone who needs and receives assistance protest against allowing others in need the same benefit. It is such a double standard. They don't want the government in it but they sure enjoy taking what they can get from the government. imo if you don't think anyone else deserves to have government run benefits then you should give up your own. If you are so against public healthcare for others then turn in those medicaid and medicare cards. Those ARE government run and would not exist if not thor the goverment. These want to have it both ways. YES for themselves and NO to others. Fair is fair. All people deserved equal opportunity to live!!!!!!!!!! That should go without saying. How can you be human without feeling that way?

I might have missed it back there but did you all see where Rush got punked??? He was given a fake thesis that was supposed to have been written by Obama in college. ROTFLMAO!!! Of course Rushy jumped on it like stink on sht and took it for the truth. There was never one question asked about its origination or authenticity. Not ole Rushy. truth is not in his vocabulary. Well the whole thing was totally fictional. Rush was halfway through his taking Obama down rampage when he was advised his whole Obama bash fest was fictional. I think he blushed a little. Now that is some good journalism don't you think? "No facts Just fiction Just Faux"

He is indeed a black hearted scoundrel of a human being, and could care less how many lunatics he is stroking with his racist and terroristic tirades on his show every day. I have to believe there is a special place in hell for Limwaste, Beck, and all of these other callous j@ck@sses that want to tear this country apart.

Guys, I was thinking about something earlier today...let's see...I'm not a part of the generation of kids that grew up post WWII 1940s-1960s. I'm wondering though...during that time, when you had only a radio and/or tv (with very little channels), and you got news about something deemed "harmful or dangerous," the psyche was to duck, cover, and hate what seemingly caused the issue, right?

Ummm...you basically didn't question what was told to you, i.e., the Russians are all cold hearted killers who hate America, etc. So as a result, if Walter Cronkite or his predecessors said something was "news," you just took it as fact.

I'm wondering...if some of these misguided folks who believe in Fox News and other lunatic fringe broadcasts, are from this same school of (non)thought--listen to every syllable spoken by the guy or gal anchorman, accept it as truth, and hate anyone who disagrees with what was said.

Help me out here...I'm trying to figure out, I guess, why are there so many people so hell bent on believing lies when they are presented with facts or truths that negate what they were told to believe?

I'm just trying to figure out the psyche of people who treat Limbaugh, Beck, Fox News, etc, like a religion.

I probably didn't make two cents out of common sense in typing this out, but just wanted to dump it out of my brain.

Osprey you made perfect sense to me. I know exactly what you are saying. However I have a different take on this somewhat. Yes Faux is nothing but a bunch of lying terroristist hate mongers who get their thrills out of causing pandamonia if their "PARTY" is not in control. But with all of that said there has never been this much hatred thrown at anyone ever in the past. NEVER were there hate threads like this about Bush. That is kinda odd don't you think. Seriously the dems seemed to except that he was pres and hope for the best. This is all "PERSONAL" and it is all about Obama. Before Obama Faux reached out to reign in viewers. Now there is so much hated of our new President that people are running to Faux in droves hoping they will supply them with an excuse to use to try and justify their evil hatred. They hate Obama but will not admit the "REAL" reason. (which we all know). Faux is being used as a scape goat to justify the evil actions being displayed throughout our country. They can't just come out and say we hate him because he is black and he is a dem because that would ruin the image they are trying to display. This is were the Faux lies become their gospel to use as amo. No Faux and the REAL people would shine through. To sum this up imo these people are running to Faux begging for any morsel of untrue info to make them feel better when they try and sleep at night...
