Quote wannazach: Quote cats meow: Quote puddycat: Quote cats meow: i have the answer, after puddy's #735, the next post was #731 instead of #736, don't know how that happened, so you are correct, there are two #735's, puddy's was bad posted, don't have a clue why, so that is why i responded the way i did, all very confusing to me You know, I don't care if someone bp's me, for whatever childish reason, if administration feels there was something wrong with that post, they will remove it. And, cats - - you are right. This Lucas Smith guy should start dating Orly Taitz! And Joe Biden in the presidential chair - - Lordy, Lordy! That was a hoot! thank you, glad you and osprey enjoyed it Well I am LMAO at that post getting reported as bad. There is not one single thing in it that deserved it. Anyway I know exactly who does it. Never fails and is so obvious. WHY are they even in this thread. Oh yeah, they LOVE the bp button. Yeah, well, I too have a pretty good idea who is doing it also, as there is always a recent post on many of the threads from that person when just about the same time the bp's start. I know, a few months ago, on the Y&R message board, administration said they are working on a way to figure out who is doing it - - but, hey, in the meantime, let them out of their playpens! So, wanna, what did you think of that link, if you had a chance to read it? |

Quote OspreyGirl: This is too cute! The public option's rising tide Oct. 23: Many progressive groups are voicing their support for the public option. One group, Billionaires for Wealthcare, decided to stage a "guerilla musical," interrupting a health insurance industry conference with a musical performance. Rachel Maddow is joined by Chris Hayes, Washington editor for The Nation, to discuss the push for a public option. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697/vp/33456098#33456098 absolutely fabulous |

Though people knock his hold no punches style, Rep. Grayson is becoming the strong voice we need to hear from our representatives right now regarding the need to have quality healthcare reform passed. It's not about whose a conservative or a liberal, it's about human lives. And we as a country have been too damn lazy to question the healthcare industry's policies and just have accepted their outrages rates and services as 'the norm.' I'm SO happy that this norm is dying a death it should have a looong time ago (aka Pres. Truman)...hopefully, we can get this thing off the ground soon! |

The insurance companies have spent 32 million so far on tv adds trying to stop the reform. There has been billions more spent on mailers. Now why would they be doing that??? Because they are afraid their little "monopoly" game might end. Heaven forbid they loses their billions for a simple little cause like saving a life. |

Because they are afraid their little "monopoly" game might end. Heaven forbid they loses their billions for a simple little cause like saving a life. How can they go to sleep at night? I'm sure while driving in their $60K+ cars, they are passing by homeless people wandering around that need medical/dental care, there are elderly and babies sitting at bus stops in cold weather coughing profusely from a cold (actual flu or pneumonia)that they can't afford to get or receive medicine and the ER turns them away, etc...these people sending out these mailers and pumping these fear tactics to protect their bottom line, have absolutely no compassion for human life. It's all about the money...and their hypocrites. They would move earth and hell to get the best doctors to care for their kids, but a poor inner city child with swine flu symptoms is not worthy of that same care or affection? It's vile beyond reason or words... BUT, if you guys haven't already, spread the word to donate to the counter campaign against these snakes. my.barackobama.com/page/content/health-care-action-center/ |

By the way, I am still trying to find the website you mentioned regarding honoring those who have died from lack of healthcare. Can you help, please? Well surprise surprise surprise!!!! The Rep's made the site be taken down. Don't want anyone to read any facts about people dying without healthcare. Florida Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson has amended a Web site he created this week, which he says is intended to draw attention to people who die without health coverage but because of the out cry of the Republicans he was forced to take it down. Earlier this week, Grayson created the Web site NamesOfTheDead.com, to emphasize the point that according to a Harvard study, more than 44,000 Americans die every year because they lack health insurance. The site prompts visitors to submit the names and stories of loved ones who died without insurance. Grayson cited the same study last month, when he apologized to the dead, not Republicans, for saying in a speech that "Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick." Republicans complained that the "Names of the Dead" site violated House rules. Now isn't it just peachy? When the Republicans YELL death panel about something that has not or will not happen it is just wonderful BUT give them REAL facts of REAL deaths and they go on a rampage till the site is taken down. You see if you really die it don't count to them. Just the lies.........lies.........lies....... |
