you know what i think is funny? it's that the republicans actually care if we bash palin or not although they have always raked obama over the coals. i will say right now i don't agree 100% with current decisions being made but i do realize everything has not played out just yet. as for palin, she was ill prepared for the campaign and made a tail of herself. she should realize things are harsh in the political world. i do NOT condone making fun of her children. that is flat out wrong..however i think making fun of HER is a free for all. she put herself in the spotlight and if you are not prepared, every move will be criticized just like with obama. anyway gotta love hypocrisy.

i find it so interesting that some posters don't understand why some of us do not like sarah palin, we have a hatred for her?? what about clinton? how long has he been out of office? still talking about the bj, he left the country in decent shape,how many troops died on his watch? why do i dislike sarah palin? let me count the ways, she tried to incite crowds calling obama a terrorist, she lied about the bridge to no where, she used her entire family during the campaign and then is outraged at the press when they mention her children(FYI, i think all children should be off limits) i seem to remember chelsa clinton being mocked for being so ugly
and what about obama?? what has he done that is so bad? spend money to try and help the country? who got us into this mess in the first place?? some people seem to have forgotten who was in charge the last eight years?

My dislike for Sarah Palin has nothing to do with her gender--I could care less if she was a squirrel. The bottom line is, she does not have the intelligence, political ability, or tact to lead this country. Now, goodness knows for some ungodly reason, Dubya was elected twice, and it wasn't for any of those three reasons.

Palin appeals to those 'silent majority' of Americans who are uncomfortable with diversity, hate affirmative action, want to make sure that a gun is always handy, have an extremely warped understanding of what true Christianity entails (i.e., it does not involve bombing women's clinics)...and the list goes on and on...

Obviously, when you speak to people like this by mentioning Obama's middle name with suspicion and disgust, stirring up the Dick Cheney 'fear everything we're all gonna die' crap post 9-11, on top of the so-called 'browning' of America, undoubtedly you will have more nut jobs attracted to her rhetoric.

She can say 'gosh darnit' and 'you betcha' with a wink and a smile from now till the cows come home, I will never cast a vote for a tool like Sarah Palin! She is an embarassment to intelligent and progressive women who work hard and don't rely on their anatomy to get ahead in life...

I get a little tired of hearing about the 'liberal' press. If it hadn't been for the 'liberal' press, who would have become aware of President Clinton's tete e tete with Monica Lowenski (sp.) and that entire debacle. As a democrat I was repulsed by his lack of morale fibre in this disgusting mess. And, at the same time, he demonstrated a wealth of intelligence on so many issues - economics, diplomacy, foreign affairs, domestic issues, etc. It's a crying shame that he left his office and the country in such great shape, only to be remembered for his affair. George Dubya took a mere eight years to tear it all down, and then leave his mess for a new President to unravel. People are complaining that Mr Obama is running all over the place so that the 'liberal' press can spotlight him and accuse him of being a publicity hound. Couldn't say that about Dubya - he purposely avoided press conferences or occasions where he might have to say something profound and meaningful. He really didn't want have anything to do with the American public - I firmly believe he thought we were just an annoyance.

Just to touch on the comment one of the posters just made about clinic bombings, Doctor murderings, etc. All I can think of is: Don't those idiots know that they are also killing someone's child.? So, what kind of insane rationale is the killing of innocent people? Hatred is what kills, not for the love of something?
